Aim: To provide the essential knowledge and skills on how to respond to children's normal,
concerning and abusive sexual behaviour to create safe and healing homes.

Day 1
• Explore how sexuality is culturally built
• Apply the Traffic Lights Model of concerning
sexual behaviours
• The development of CSB: a picture of
protective and risk factors
• Traumatic sexualisation and trauma reenactment
Day 2
• Supporting healthy sexuality in residential
settings
• How to implement Ryan’s model of responding
to concerning sexual behaviour
• Developing protective strategies with children
• Professional responses to allegations of abuse
by children to children
Recommend Prior Learning
Participants are encouraged to have completed Creating Sanctuary and Impact of Trauma.
