We have held a number of successful fund-raising events over the intervening months and are thankful for the support that our community has given us for this undertaking. A sub-committee of the CWA Governing Board was given a mandate to carefully review the best options to pursue in terms of design (layout, materials, cost, practicality, safety, etc). The recommendation from this sub-committee is that an artificial turf field will best meet the needs of our school. This new multisport field will provide a safe, affordable, and practical alternative playing surface to asphalt, and will benefit CWA students tremendously. The members of the committee are pleased to invite all CWA parents to an information and Q&A session to be held at the school on Monday, May 25 at 7:00 p.m. M. François Hébert, is an expert in sports field design who has acted as a consultant on numerous similar projects for many different institutions and organisations, including public and private schools.
