FAQ’S What does rising 5th grade mean? If your child with be a 5th grader during the 2014-‐2015 school year they are considered a rising 5th grader. So, in essence we are asking what grade your child will be in next year. If there is a camp in the morning and a camp in the afternoon that my child is able to take – can they stay and have lunch at DSA? Absolutely! You will need to provide your own sack lunch, but there will be supervision for those staying the ½ hour in between camps. Can my child take Summer Camps @ DSA AND the DSA Summer of Arts program? Absolutely! If your child is a rising 3rd-‐5th grader they can easily take a morning camp with us (Summer Camps @ DSA) and then the afternoon program with DSA Summer of Arts if the schedule allows. You will need to fill out separate registration forms for both camps and pay separately; however, there will be staff on site to transition students from one camp to the other and oversee lunch if a child is doing both camps. May I pay with a credit card? At this time we are not able to accept credit card payments, but you are free to either mail your check or drop it by the main office during normal business hours (Mon-‐Fri 8am-‐3:30pm). Who teaches the camps? Our faculty/staff is a combination of DSA’s teaching faculty and a variety of guest artists that often teach at DSA or at many of the premiere educational and theatrical institutions in the Denver area. Where is DSA located? We are located on the corner of Montview and Quebec just south of Stapleton, across from Johnson & Wales. There is plenty of parking available, and although drop-‐off and pick-‐up areas will change depending on the camp and/or the schools schedule there is easy access from both Montview and/or Quebec. Is there more paperwork? Nope! Once you receive your confirmation email you are ready to go! Just show up on the first day of camp and we will tell you where drop off/pick up will happen for that camp. You should also receive an email about one week before the camp starts with specifics on what to bring, what to wear, etc.
