kids helping kids We invite you to participate in this truly unique event. Boca Grande Charities takes great pride in creating a fun and engaging experience for kids. It really is the “World’s Greatest Kids Fishing Tournament.” This is the greatest because everyone involved, from the anglers, to the volunteers, to the sponsors and the captains, has made a commitment to protect the resource with a catch and immediate release event. Conservation of the tarpon fishery is a primary goal of the event as well as honoring the local, historical traditions that the Boca Grande area tarpon fishing community has built over the years. The kids that participate are educated on how to properly catch a tarpon and they are all caught and released as quickly and as healthy as possible.
