Available substitutions
• HIST 1210/1220 (Technology and Civilization I/II) is an alternate Core History option (Can be substituted for HIST 1010/1020)
• MATH 1610 (Calculus I) can be taken to satisfy the MATH 1680 requirement. Pre-req. 26ACTM/600SATM or ‘C’ or above in MATH 1130.
→ Because of MATH 1130 pre-req., this is primarily a substitution for 1st semester freshmen or transfer students.
• PHIL 1030 (Ethics & Health Sciences) can be taken to satisfy the PHIL 1020/1040 Ethics requirement. This one course cannot be used to satisfy
both the Ethics and Humanities core requirements. (Can only be used to satisfy one of these requirements.)
