Children’s Water Game Day • June 23 from 1:30-4pm We will be playing all sorts of crazy water games, water balloons, and a big water slide from 1:30-4:00pm behind the church near the playground. Kids age 5-12 are encouraged to come out and have a blast with your pastors! YOUTH & COLLEGE MINISTRY To receive the Youth Newsletter, email Pastor Kris or sign up on the Youth Ministries page of the church website. Welcome to Millers Creek Baptist! We are delighted you are here with us this morning at Millers Creek Baptist. We hope the worship time will be a blessing to you and that the Holy Spirit might draw you closer to God and His Son, Jesus. If you are a guest in our services, please take time to complete a guest card before leaving. This will enable our staff to send you a further word of greeting. You are also welcome to come and meet the pastors in the library after the morning service. Have a good day! A nursery (birth-3yrs) is provided for those who wish to use it. We offer Worship for Life for kids (age 4-grade 3) during the morning worship services. The Open Door Our door is open in love to all with an invitation to come, worship, and open your heart to Jesus! Staff Senior Pastor (ext 23) Shannon Critcher Student Pastor (ext 24) Kris Patton Children’s/Discipleship Pastor (ext 25) Jared Blair Pastor Emeritus Jim Gore Christian School Principal April Huffman Secretary (ext 21) Melissa Hamby Custodian (ext 50) David Reeves Youth Hiking at Julian Price Park • Tuesday, June 16 We will leave the church at 9:30am. Bring your own lunch. We will eat and play a little bit when we get there, and then take off on the five mile hike. It is not as strenuous as Stone Mountain but it still offers a little challenge. Please wear closed-toed shoes to hike in. We will take some time to play in the river as well, so plan on getting wet. Pack some crocks, river shoes, or old tennis shoes to wear in the river. Bring some water and snacks for the hike, and some dry clothes to change into when we get back to the van. You do not want to hike in the same shoes you get wet because the swimming hole is about 3.5 miles into the hike. That leaves about 1.5 miles to hike in wet shoes which is pretty uncomfortable. Call Pastor Kris if you have questions.
