I will present a relic of St. Faustina for personal veneration. WELCOME EVERYONE. Why do we have the Feast of Divine Mercy? According to the Diary of St. Faustina our Lord made 14 revelations requesting this feast day be established on the Sunday after Easter Sunday. On April 30, 2000, at the time of the Canonization of St. Faustina, Pope St. John Paul II established this feast day for all the universal Church to celebrate. We also remember that this great Pope in the Catholic Church went home to the Lord on the eve of this great Feast Day in 2005. Welcome to our Holy Hour celebration on Sunday, April 12 beginning at 1:30 pm. Special welcome to all our youth as well. ******************************************** ****************************************** Think on this… Next Second Collection By Sub-Deacon Alex April 26, 2015 Catholic Home Missions ******************************************** VOLUNTEERS WANTED The Ladies Guild will be making Fatayre for the Spring Buffet on : Monday, APRIL 13, 9:00am Please make plans to lend a hand! I get to go this week to visit my earthly family and hope that all of you have family with which to celebrate the feast. For a joy shared is a joy doubled. Our sorrow at the cross, which was a sign of death, has become a tree which gives life. It has become the tree of life, and Christ is the fruit from this tree which gives us eternal life. May God bless you. Christ is risen, truly risen! You really made the time of Lent a spiritual blessing for me this year. -I want to thank our faithful organist for your faithful duty each Friday. Thank you very much for leading us in our chant for this wonderful devotion we pray in our Maronite Church. I very much love our chant. I also include my thanks to our faithful Deacons and Subdeacons for their participation. This Parish is blessed to have you and your good service here. -My special thanks for my helper with the beautiful Palm decorations. The arrangements in the sanctuary were so well done thanks to Debbie Ashkar. I also appreciate the beautiful Palm that was made for me to carry. -A great appreciation goes out to Deacon Tom Maroon and family and everyone who contributed funds for the annual Palm Sunday Family Meal. I thank all the helpers who spent hours in preparing the great meal and thank you very much to all those able to attend. The donations for the meal were very generous and you really made this a great success once again. What a beautiful Palm Sunday Feast Day we had here at Our Lady of the Cedars. Thank you one and all. A big, big bravo to the visiting Easter Bunny. Come again. Another thanks to Bradley and his staff for all the good helping hands in the preparing on Saturday and for all the good help you gave us on Sunday. -One more time I wish to say thank you to all our Altar Servers. What a blessing you are to me and to this little Parish of Our Lady of the Cedars. I wish to share our little story one more time. We had our practice last Saturday at 9:00 am and then we went to Shake and Steak for our breakfast. One person in the place, a stranger to us, was so impressed by the good behavior of our youth that this person was moved to pay our bill. We had at least 20 persons at our table. I thank you very much good Altar Servers. I appreciate very much your good parents and all the good you do for your families.
