Our group is a social networking club that was started by 6 local artists in 1981. The members of the PCPAA create beautiful art and enjoy each other’s company. We sponsor social gatherings, fund raising events to support art scholarships, volunteer efforts for local non-profit groups and professional development seminars. Members collaborate on exhibition opportunities and art shows. Supporting our local community is an essential component for our membership. Our support and volunteer commitment throughout the Park City community is especially strong during the annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival hosted by the famed Kimball Art Center. The festival attracts up to 50,000 art lovers during first weekend in August. The PCPAA organization is one of relaxed giving and volunteerism. PCPAA provides a kind and nurturing environment supportive of both professional and novice artists. Members are especially inviting and encouraging towards emerging artists who join looking for information and mentors. If my ball gets in the rough in longer grass I pick up the ball and throw it onto the fairway. RULE #4. If I get in a deep sand trap and after two tries I did not get out I pick up the ball and toss it out. RULE #5. If I swing and miss the ball, that was just a practice swing. She will talk about ways to conserve water in our gardens and yards, make suggestions for water wise native plants, and give a demonstration on composting. Please park on Woodbine Way or in the PCMR employee lot on Munchkin Road. Do NOT park in one of the spaces at the Recycle Center! Bring a sandwich for your lunch, beverages will be provided.
