INSTRUCTIONS/GUIDELINES ON HOW TO ACCESS OFFICIAL E-NAPS MAILBOX FOR PAYSLIP
AND OTHER PAY INFORMATION
1. Open a web browser (E.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google chrome etc) as shown in fig. 1
below. Type the address of the finance web site: www.nafc.enaps.com.ng on the web browser’s
address bar as also shown in fig. 1 below.

2. This will open the NAFC’s website as shown in fig. 2 below.
3. On the right side of the website, click on the image NAFC ENAPS E-mail System as shown in fig 2 below.

4. This will display the Email login page as shown in fig 3.below.

5. Under Security (show explanation), two options are listed, namely:

This is a public or shared computer

This is a private computer
Select the first option if the user is logging in from a public computer such as from a cybercafé.
Select the second option if the user is logging from a more secured location like his personal
computer/laptop.

The next option shows Use Outlook Web Access Light as shown in fig. 4 below.
Select the check box ONLY if the internet connection you are using is slow. This enables you to use the
basic features so as to make accessing the e-mail faster.

The next option shows Domain\user name.
This is where you type in your username (which is the same thing as your e-mail address). It will be in the
following format as shown below:
<Your surname.Your Service nos>@na.enaps.com.ng
The next option shows Password. This is where you type your password (An alphanumeric password)
which have been included in your July (2010) payslip. July Payslip for all officers and soldiers have been
sent to their respective units. So you are mandated to first login with this password (the one indicated
on the payslip) and then change it to your desired password. For example an officer with the following
details below:
First Name: John
Surname: Bull
Service nos: N/12345
Will have the following login details as shown below:
Username or e-mail address: [email protected]
Password (Which is alphanumeric): as included in your July 2010 payslip (E.g abcd1234)
Another example is a soldier with the following details below:
First Name: chris
Surname: don
Service nos: 79NA/45/5345
Will have the following login details as shown below:
Username or e-mail address: [email protected]
Password (Which is alphanumeric): as included on the July 2010 payslip (E.g abcd1234)

After typing your login details, click on Log on. This will display an interface as shown in fig. 5 below,
which shows language settings and current time zone. Click OK, and it will navigate the page to your
mailbox. Note that this occurs since it’s the first time you are logging in. Subsequent logins will not display
fig. 5, but instead will display the mailbox directly as shown in fig.6. overleaf.

The email’s inbox opens to show the personnel’s payslip as shown in fig. 6 below.

To change your password, on logging in, click on Options located on the top right corner of the screen as
shown in fig. 6 above.

This will display another page as shown in fig. 7. Below. On the left corner of the screen, there is a list of
options, scroll down to Change password and click on it to display the interface for changing your
password as shown in fig. 8 overleaf.

Type your old password (which is the alphanumeric password you used to log in earlier on) in the column
called “Old password” as indicated in fig. 8 above.

Type your new password of your choice in the column called “New Password” as also indicated in fig. 8.

Retype the password again in the column called “Confirm new password” as shown in fig. 8

Click on Save on top of the screen as shown in fig. 8 to effect your changes. Note that it is important to
click Save so as to effect the new password.

After clicking Save, the page will navigate to a new page as shown in fig. 9 below prompting you to click
OK and log in with your new password. Click OK.

This will navigate to the login page prompting you to log in with your new password as shown in fig. 10
below. Type in your new password and click login as also shown in fig. 10 to finally reopen your mailbox
