On Saturday, October 11, 2014 the band competed at the
USBands Cy-Fair regional marching contest. We were
awarded second place (by .9 points). In addition, the drum
line was awarded Outstanding Percussion in Class, our color
guard won Outstanding Guard in Class and the band was
awarded Outstanding Visual caption.

volunteer support on both campuses, provides educational
programs for students and parents, supports ORHS staff
members, and submits campus news to parents through

Planning to take an ACT or SAT this year? Please remember
that a TEST TICKET and PHOTO ID are required when you
arrive to take your test. If you do not have a photo ID, you
can have a student ID made in the ORHS library PRIOR TO
TEST DAY. If you need to print your test ticket, you may
print one in the College and Career Center (B202) PRIOR TO
TEST DAY!!
Driver License Attendance Verification
(Verification of Enrollment – VOE)
To obtain a driver’s license in the state of Texas, a student between the
ages of 15 and 18 must annually provide to the Texas Department of
Public Safety a form obtained from the school verifying that the
student has met the 90 percent attendance requirement for the
semester preceding the date of application. The student can request
this form at their Assistant Principal’s office. Requests are typically
processed within 24-48 hours. Students should remember that
buildings are closed during spring and winter break as well as holidays
and should plan accordingly.
