Closing Song
Psalm 100 (ESV)
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!
Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his
presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he is
God! It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with
praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!
For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures
forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

General Information
May we ask you a question?
Do you know what Jesus did for you?
Do you know how to have Eternal Life?
THE BIBLE SAYS:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23
“But God demonstrated His own love for us in this: While
we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you shall be saved.” Romans 10:9
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be
saved.”
Romans 10:13
Would you like to tell God you are trusting Jesus Christ
as your savior? If so, why not pray right now and tell Him
that you are trusting His Son? Your prayer can go
something like this:
“Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need your
forgiveness. I ask You into my life to be my Savior and
Lord. Please forgive my sins and give me your gift of
eternal life. Thank you for dying for me and saving me.”
That’s all it takes to trust your heart, your life on earth,
and your eternal life to Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “He
who hears My word and believes in Him who sent me has
everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has
passed from death into life.”
John 5:24
Now that’s a promise you can stand on!
If you did ask Jesus into your life today, please let us
know. We would love to help you on your new journey
with Jesus Christ!

A Few More Thoughts From Today’s Text. . .
Should we truly seek Christ in decisions such as
where we live, what kind of home we live in, what
cloths we wear, what we eat, what kind of vehicle we
own, etc.? Why does it matter? Would our lives look
differently if we did?
What do Jesus’ words about "give up all his own
possessions" (14:33) have to do with owning a house
and car? With purchasing a refrigerator? With seeking
a lucrative career?
We briefly discussed what saltiness represented in
14:34. Should people be able to tell that you are a
Christian? In what way? How can we walk the fine line
between being a witness and coming across "holier
than thou"?
What decisions do we not like to give to Him? What
does this indicate about our relationship with Christ?
Is there something that keeps you from following
Christ fully? What has a hold on you? What must you
do in order to turn it completely over to Christ?
Do we present Christ as demanding our greatest love
to those who want to follow Him? Why or why not?
