December 25—Collection
for the Seminary
Remember to be generous this Christmas with the
special collection for the Seminary on Christmas Day.
Thank You!
Recommended Holiday Viewing – Take a moment
to sit back, put up your feet, and enjoy The Forsaken on
Tuesday, December 30 on EWTN at 5:30 pm. This thirty
minute documentary, featuring the Archdiocese of St. Louis
mission program Pan y Amor, will open your eyes to the
lives of children who have been rescued from living on the
streets of Cochabamba and La Paz, Bolivia. Prior to being
rescued, these children barely survived and often went to
sleep hungry and on the streets. Emmy award winner
Chuck Neff does an extraordinary job of capturing the
struggles of these innocent children and their quest for a
brighter future. This is a show you don’t want to miss!!
Cell Phone Number Update
With the trend being to delete Home Phones and
only carry a Cell Phone we want to remind
all who do this to please contact the Parish
office with your cell number so we are able
to update our records and have a number of
contact for you.
Thank you for your consideration.
Compliance
“Anyone who works with or volunteers with children
at St. Gertrude/St. Ann Parish must be compliant with the Safe
Environment Program of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis set
forth by the USCCB. (United States Conference of Catholic
Bishops.)” For questions concerning what constitutes compliance or whether or not you are currently in compliance, please
contact Kathy Mueller at [email protected]
or call 636-239-4216.
Since we now have a priest living at both St.
Gertrude and St. Ann we will not cancel mass during inclimate weather this winter. Mass will be celebrated every day.
All Souls Photo Display
If you brought in a photo of your loved one for the
Photo Display in Church for the month of November you can
now pick them up from the parish office along with your
memorial candle.
Thank you.

Merry Christmas
At this special time of year we would like to wish a Very Merry Christmas to all.
Thank you to all parishioners who have supported us this year. We appreciate you
more than you know. We hope 2015 brings us all good things and another year of
hope and holiness throughout our parish.

Word of Life
“Are we moved by the suffering of those without shelter? Do
we seek to alleviate the fear, confusion and panic that women
facing unexpected pregnancies may be experiencing? Do our
hearts ache for elderly patients in nursing homes who feel
abandoned and unwanted, having no one to visit them?
Our mission is to show each person the love of Christ. As
uniquely created individuals, we each have unique gifts which
we are called to use to share Christ’s love.”
