SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION:
Saturday 3:30 - 4:30 PM in the Prayer Room and
any time upon request.
PARISH REGISTRATION: New Parishioners
are asked to call 440-331-4255 to set up an
appointment for registration. Parishioners who are
moving are also asked to notify the parish office.
SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM: Parents should be
members of our parish and need to attend a preBaptism Class if they have not already done so.
Baptisms celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at
1:00 PM or at any weekend Mass. Call the parish
office to arrange all Baptisms.
SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE: In keeping
with Diocesan regulations, arrangements must be
made with a parish priest at least 6 months before
the date selected to allow for the necessary
preparation.
FUNERALS: Arrangements are made with the help
of a Funeral Director. They will assist in contacting the
parish office to arrange a time for a Funeral Mass
before any notice is placed in the newspaper.
ADULT CONVERTS: Adults interested in the
Catholic faith are invited to participate in the Rite
of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). Meetings
are Mondays from 7:00-8:30 PM beginning in the
Fall and continuing through Easter. Call the parish
office for details.
MINISTRY WITH THE SICK &
HOMEBOUND: We are happy to bring the
Eucharist or to provide the Anointing of the
Sick to the homebound. Contact the office.
PSR CLASSES: Pre-K through Grade 8: Sundays
9:00-10:00 AM .and 10:30-11:30 AM. For
information/registration call Religious Ed. Office.
CLOW: Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW),
offered during 9 AM Mass on Sundays, gives
children ages 5 to 10 the opportunity to hear and
discuss the Scripture readings at their level.
COUNSELING: Faith based, professional
counseling is available for mental health, personal
growth, and relationship issues from March –
December. Please contact Marianne Betters at the
Parish Office during that timeframe.

The annual contribution statements have been
prepared and should have arrived at your homes by mail in
the past week. Anyone who contributed $250.00 or more to
the parish over the past year received a statement. Others
are welcome to request a statement by calling our parish
secretary, Judie Boland, at the parish office. If you have
updated your personal profile in our parish records, you can
also access your information online. This will provide you
with details of your donations throughout the year. We look
forward to this online approach as the norm as we move into
the future. If you find any error in your statement or have any
questions concerning your donations please contact our
business manager, Megan Gerome, who is also available at
the parish office. I am grateful for all of your support for our
parish and I look forward to your continued support in this
year of 2015. Please note that anyone who made a
contribution to the Diocesan Campaign over the past year
will receive a separate statement. That statement will be
sent by the Diocese of Cleveland Catholic Community
Foundation.
This weekend at the 10:30 Mass we welcome our
student athletes and coaches involved in winter sports.
We wish them well as their season continues and express
our gratitude to the adults who are so generous with their
time and talent in guiding and teaching them.
This past week we said farewell to our School Secretary,
Mrs. Karen Quinn, who is retiring after 15 years of service to
our school community. We are grateful for her dedication and
faithfulness to our school families and to our teaching staff.
We wish Karen well as she begins to enjoy a well earned
retirement. Mrs. Judy Zell will serve as interim secretary in
the school office for the remainder of the school year. Judy
has been our School Librarian and has helped in the office.
We appreciate her moving into this new role. Peggy Cawley
will serve as our interim librarian. We are grateful to Peggy
for her willingness to help us in this position. We expect
things to move forward smoothly and we appreciate
everyone’s patience during the initial transition. Talk to you

HOLY SPIRIT BIBLE STUDY
Does your spiritual life have an element of surprise, freshness and the unexpected? Do you

A Pre-Baptism Class will be held at
St. Christopher Parish Sunday,
February 8, 2015 at 1:15 p.m. in the
Atrium. All couples expecting their first
child are reminded that this class is a
requirement for Baptism. Please register on our
parish website.
CYG: High School Youth Ministry
We will kick-off Catholic Schools Week with an
Open House and Art Show next Sunday, from
10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Please come see all that is
happening throughout the school, along with
enjoying the student artwork and refreshments in
the Parish Center, Throughout the week, the
students will be participating in a Spirit Rally,
Classroom Sharing with “Angels”, Bingo, and a
wonderful Talent Show! Our Catholic Schools
Week celebrations will end, most appropriately,
with an All School Mass at 9:00 a.m., Friday where
students, faculty, and families will join together in
prayer and thanksgiving for Catholic Education, St.
Christopher School, and for all who make both
possible in building God’s Kingdom here on earth.
CYG is open to all high school students and their
friends. Our group has friends from all grades and
all local high schools and we would love to have
you join us! We meet Sunday evenings from 7:008:30 p.m. in Mary’s Room. Our meetings and
schedules are planned by high school students
and we have a lot to look forward to this year!
