In-Lab times:
Shipping & Delivery to Studios in Canada
Most orders process and ship within 24 hours for orders
placed by 12:00pm MST. Check each product in this guide for
more information on in-lab times for your product. Due to the
seasonal nature of the business, in-lab times may vary.
FREE shipping on Canadian Orders
Rush Services:
We offer same day & 24 hour rush services on products for a
100% fee in addition to all service charges. Please contact us
for available services.
Rush orders must be placed by 11:00 AM MT for guaranteed
same day service.
All orders that are invoiced for $150.00 USD or more will ship
via UPS Standard at no charge. This includes both individual
and multiple orders.
Individual Canadian Orders
One flat $25 fee if you are just placing a single order of any
size under $150.00 the cost of shipping will be a flat $25.
Multiple Canadian Orders
To qualify for free shipping, print orders must be $12.00 or
more, excluding any shipment service upgrades. ORDERS
CAN NOT BE COMBINED TO REACH FREE SHIPMENT MINIMUMS.

If you are placing multiple orders from separate departments,
you will have to make a note in each individual order so that
they can be combined under one shipping fee. In the review
order screen of Roes there are two Canadian Shipping options,
one for individual orders and another for multiple orders. The
multiple order option has a field below it where you are required to note if the order is 1/3, 2/3, or 3/3 etc. If this information is not filled out correctly your order will be invoiced as an
individual order with the full $25 fee. Because of the nature of
our system, we will not be able to honor requests for combination after orders have been placed. There will be no exceptions
to this procedure.
For orders under $12.00, totals will be rounded up to equal
$12.00.
In lab times may be extended with this option in order to hold
shipment for multiple orders.
Shipping & Delivery to Studio:
All orders are shipped from ProDPI via 3-day service. Service
will be based on geographic location and can range from
Ground Service to 3-day Air Saver, at no charge. Does not
apply to large mounted prints, stretched canvas, fine art prints
and some large print sizes.
All shipping to Canada is shipped via UPS Standard and will
automatically update you with tracking. Delivery is normally
scheduled 4-7 business days after shipment.

Bamboo Panel Mount and Canvas Orders
$25 + 15% of the cost of the order if you are placing an
order for Framing, Metal, Wall Print Packages, Bamboo Panel
Mount or a Canvas of any kind, the fee will be the base $25
plus 15% of the cost of the order. Bamboo Panel Mount and
Canvas orders cannot be combined to save on shipping fees or
packaging.
Duty & Taxes
ProDPI will collect the required GST or HST depending on the
destination of the package, which will show up on your email
confirmation and invoice as sales tax. ProDPI is the importer
of the products, so you will not be billed any taxes or fees
upon delivery.

Individual INTL Orders
ProDPI charges Australian Studios ACTUAL USPS Priority Mail
International rates. Studios are responsible for all freight, taxes
and/or fees associated with all shipments. Service time for
Priority Mail International is 6-10 days. Orders can be held in
customs and ProDPI is not responsible for delivery times.

Shipping Damage & Payment Information:
Though orders are carefully packaged and shipped, damage
to some orders may still occur. Please contact us immediately
upon receiving a damaged package or order. We will make
every effort to replace your order promptly as well as file
necessary claims with shipping carriers. Please note ProDPI
is NOT responsible for expedited shipping or rush production times.
Digital Precision Imaging (ProDPI) accepts the following types

Limit of Liability
We understand the importance of our customers’ digital files;
we use the highest care in the processing and handling of your
prints and digital files. We are not responsible for the retention or storage of files sent to us.
Any discrepancies must be reported within 7 working days.
If remakes are necessary, the entire order and packing slip or
invoice may be asked to be returned to the lab.

Pricing:
Pricing is subject to change. Please refer to our web site for
our latest PDF price guide. ProDPI is NOT responsible for any
typographical errors in this price guide, on our web site, or on
any promotion materials distributed electronically or in print.
Borders, bleeds and printer cropping:
Please keep all borders, bleeds and printer cropping in mind
when designing your printed products. Printers will have
varying tolerance and bleeds resulting in cropping and/or
edges being removed. Images are slightly enlarged to avoid
any white slivers from appearing on prints. Please allow for up
to 1/8” on all four sides of your designs, borders, layouts, etc.
ProDPI is NOT responsible for variances due to equipment
tolerances.
All Sales Final:
Due to the nature of custom printing services all sales are final.
We will not refund/remake orders because of design issues,
incorrect product/service selection and/or any other order
related item or mistake.
Remakes:
ProDPI will make every attempt to reprint an order to please
the photographer. Please have your Invoice and/or Work order
numbers ready upon contacting us. We archive all
files/orders for up to 14 days, though we may request that files
be re-uploaded. ProDPI will make every attempt to remake an
order; credits to your account, NOT to your credit card will be
available if necessary.
Cancellations:
Once you have received your ProDPI roes email your order
has begun being processed by our automated systems. Order
cancellation must be done via telephone or the order cancellation form located in your ProDPI roes confirmation email
during normal customer service hours, or via email after hours.
All attempts will be made to cancel your order; however, at
times order processing may be too far along for cancellation.

By following these listed items, your orders will be accurately fulfilled while maintaining the speed and
pricing that make ProDPI your best choice for professional output.
• File naming schemes are extremely important in determining image print order. Though ProDPI does not
guarantee the order of your printed images, keeping the following items in mind will help to keep images
in order:
-Zero-pad images numbers i.e. 001, 002, ... 345
-Keep file names under 20 characters
-Do not use special characters including ?[]/\+<>:;”, in your file names or folder names
-Use “_” instead of spaces in file and folder names
• Files must be saved as .JPG image files, 8bit, RGB. PDF, PSD, TIFF files are not accepted
• Save .JPG files as quality level of 10 for fastest upload/transfer speed.
• Files MUST be in a working color space, (sRGB or Adobe RGB) Using a calibrated monitor is
critical for an accurate print to monitor match.
• Please be sure to EMBED working space color profiles (sRGB or Adobe RGB) when saving your files, this
will ensure that we can process your images without any unexpected color shifts.
• Standard services do not include color correction. Files are printed as-is unless otherwise noted in your
order.
• Maximum print size for Luster, Pearl, Deep Matte prints 30”x13’, Maximum Kodak Metallic print size is
20”x30”
• All images requiring cropping will have a center crop executed unless otherwise noted.
• For best results do not interpolate files in Photoshop, the rendering software used by our printers does an
incredible job at resizing. If you normally use interpolation tools in your workflow, please do so. If not,
leave it to us!

Environment
The first and easiest step to color managing your workflow starts in your studio office. Stick to neutral
colored furniture and décor – even wood finishes will create warm casts. Your workspace should be well
lit with ambient natural light. Set up artificial lighting to avoid screen glare. Remember that what you
wear affects your perception of the image in front of you. Stick to neutral clothing choices. And if you
haven’t done so yet, check your own color discrimination with the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue test (but
don’t test yourself on a non-calibrated monitor!) http://www.xrite.com/custom_page.aspx?PageID=75
Equipment
A reliable monitor cannot be stressed enough. Manufacturers such as NEC and EIZO are preferable.
Color management experts recommend a monitor be no older than a few years and cost no less than
$500. When it comes to monitors, you get what you pay for! It is a cardinal sin of color management to
view or edit images on a laptop. Laptops are neither consistent nor reliable for profiling and proofing.
Remember to keep your monitor’s brightness in check (your prints don’t emit light!) and shoot for 6500
Kelvin.
Your monitor’s light is not enough – you need simulated daylight in your workspace. Bulbs manufactured
by Solux provide consistent and reliable industry standardized lighting at the ideal 5000 Kelvin. Beware
of bargain bulbs labeled “daylight”.
View
To see what your lab will see, view your images in daylight with the lights on. Remember that your
monitor and your print are inherently different. Your monitor emits lights, whereas your print absorbs
light. View your print in the same light that you edited your image.
Calibrate
Calibration in its least refined form requires matching the white from a print to the white of a monitor.
However, since you are a professional photographer and not a professional calibration device, monitor calibration must must must be executed by an actual calibration device for reliable, practical, and
consistent results. Colorvision Spyder devices and the X-rite i1Display2 are great options, however this
technology is constantly changing and updating, so keep your ears and eyes peeled. Follow the manufacturer’s specifications for the best results.
Calibrate to the following recommended specs:
Gamma: 2.2
White Balance/Color Temp: 6500
Brightness/Luminance/cd/m2: 120

Embed
An image without an embedded color space is worthless. Always embed your chosen color space. There
is no “right” color space in digital photography. It all depends on your image, your substrate, and your
output device. However, chose practically – neither too large nor too small. Common spaces like sRGB
and Adobe RGB 1998 fit well within the output capabilities of well profiled professional imaging labs
and include an impressively wide color range. Larger color spaces like ProPhoto RGB require special
attention in editing and proofing.
Soft-proof
Proofing with your lab’s soft-proofing profile allows you to see your images through the eyes of your
lab’s printer. During editing it is helpful to toggle proofing (command+y in photoshop) to see how your
image will look as it comes off the lab’s printer. Keep your eye on wide gamut colors like yellows,

Congratulations, color manager! Your workflow is now officially color managed. Once a workflow like
this is initiated, maintenance is your next step. Calibrate your monitor about every two weeks and keep
your eye on the industry for technology and developments for color managing your art. My favorite resource for how-to and how-come questions is www.colorwiki.com.

Here is a quick guide to using Image Processor in Adobe Photoshop CS. This is a great tool to prep your images for our “Express Proof Printing” service.

images to be saved to. Your orginal images will
not be affected at all.
3. Check “Save as JPG”,

It is very important to use ProDPI Press Guides to properly prepare your files for printing. All of our press
products are printed on a parent sheet, then cut down to your finished size. Most of our products have
a 1/8” bleed on ALL cut sides as a result of this process. In order for a satisfactory cut on your product,
you must account for the “BLEED” in the design of your files. This means that you will use our guides to
create your final file 1/4” larger than your desired size. After trimming occurs, you will have a full bleed
final piece that has image or design all of the way to the edges
NOTE: All files submitted for ProDPI Press Products must be saved as JPEG’s with an embedded RGB
colorspace.
We will use a 5x7 flat card product as an example. The template for our 5x7 flat card product is sized at
5.25”x7.25” @300dpi and the file that you submit should be sized the same.
The RED area of the guide represents where the final trimming will occur. Our cutting equipment has a tolerance
for the trimming process and the final cuts can shift around within the RED area of the Guide. If you have an image or design in your file that you want to bleed off the edges of your final product you MUST make sure that it
extends all the way to the edge.
The BLUE line is there to show you how far to bring your border in from the edges to ensure that it will be as
even as possible on your final product. If you are using a border in your design we strongly suggest that you make
it at least as large as the BLUE line in the guide.
It is important to note that any text in your file must be inside the RED trimming area. The BLUE line is only relevant if you are using a border and does not affect the other elements of your design.
If you do not use the templates when designing your file, or you do not make your file the exact same size as the
templates, your final product may not print and trim correctly. If we receive a file that is undersized or oversized,
our system automatically crops it to fit the printing space. This does mean that you may lose more information
around the edges than you originally anticipated after your product is trimmed.

Using the latest in ECO printing technology we print on
400GSM white poly-cotton canvas. Excellent color rendition, saturation and sharpness make your canvas prints
shine! The manufacturer of this material is also proud to
help to rebuild forests by planting a tree for every roll of
material that ProDPI uses. They do this by partnering with
American Forests, you can read more about this great organization here.
We offer a bunch of different sizes and have fast in lab
times! Canvas prints come stretched gallery wrap style
with the option of either black paper backing, sawtooth
hangers and rubber hanging bumpers or hanging wire with
an open back.
Hanging wire is recommended for canvases larger than
16x16.

Fabric Wall Cling material is a peel and stick, patented, polyester fabric, adhesive
media material that can be installed on virtually any flat surface (except non-painted
brick) in any weather condition and then removed and reused many times over. Fabric
Wall Clings will not leave a sticky residue on 99% of any surface when removed. It can
withstand all weather conditions, and it will not shrink or curl like other material. Fabric
Wall Clings won’t rip or wrinkle and can be pulled apart if it folds over during installation.
Fabric Wall Cling material is non-toxic, green and phthalates free.

Matboard
Lightweight fiber board for general mounting of smaller prints. Larger sizes have a tendency to warp with humidity changes.
Styrene - White/Black
This is a lightweight and moisture resistant black or white, plastic board. It is very durable, and great for displays, exhibit booths,
and general mounting.
ProDPI Foam - White/Black
This is a proprietary foam centered board coated with a plastic shell. These materials are stiffer than standard foam core and will
not absorb moisture.
Stand Out - White/Black
Stand Out are lightweight boards with an attractive banded hard edge. They provide a “frameless” frame. Sizes are available in
3/4” and 1 1/2” depths.
Custom Sizes
If your print size is not listed, we often times can still provide you with mounting services on products other than Standout boards.
You will be charged for the next larger size listed in the table above.
All custom sizes can incur a $1.00/cut trim charge.

style. Spreads are printed, crease and then mounted to a rigid black or
white boards. All end leave and boards are black, and printing is available on three paper types.

printed on the same great HP Indigo print technology that our press products are printed with and are offered with many different cover materials as well as paper types. With a wide variety of sizes and styles these press printed books are sure to impress.
Product Descriptions and Pricing
Use the following two pages in conjunction to create your perfect book. The very next page of the price guide offers information about our cover materials as well as pricing for all our cover options. The page after includes all of our paper types for the
book and pricing for each. When calculating your total cost be sure to include both the cost of the cover as well as the pages!
Submission
ProDPI accepts both JPEGs and PDFs for book submission. For both, remember that we can only accept files of each individual
page (sometimes referred to as a side). For JPEG submission, the sizing templates MUST be downloaded and used. If you still
feel more comfortable designing in spreads, download Fundy’s Half-it-Batch software to have Photoshop split your spreads into
pages automatically. For information about PDF submission download our “PDF Submission Guide”. Please note that there is
a fee of $7.50 for all PDF uploads.

will always be on the right and even pages will always be on the left. The first page of the book will always be on the right.
Spread: Two pages with images that are visible when the book is opened. Many book designs include “full spread” images
meaning that the design will extend from the page on the left to the page on the right.

Magazine style paper offer a timeless look, with pages that open much like
a magazine. This style paper is available in two different materials. For both
paper types, there is a:

Smooth Matte Magazine: Our Smooth Matte Magazine Style paper is delightfully soft and provides excellent detail. This
100# text weight paper contains 30% Post-Consumer recycled material. Note that since this paper has recycled content some
pages may have some spots that you are not expecting.
Semi-Gloss Magazine: A lightweight version of the Layflat Semi-Gloss paper, the Semi-Gloss Magazine Style paper is subtly
shiny and offers crisp, bright colors. This paper is also a 100# text weight paper.
Layflat Style Paper
Layflat style paper offers a modern look, allowing the pages of the book to lay
