HMA White Paper (2010) – Participant in the inaugural National Summit Meeting of the Health Ministries
Association (HMA) from June 13 – 15, 2010 in Burlingame, CA. The outcome product of this meeting
was the collaborative production of a 20 page “HMA White Paper” (authored on behalf of the summit
participants by Alyson Breisch, HMA Board Chair for Practice and Education) document that
summarized the discussions of the meeting and concluded with action plans to guide future
development of both the interdisciplinary faith and health movement and the nursing specialty of Faith
Community Nursing.
