FOR PUBLICATION IN THE WEEKLY “GAZETTE”
ATTENTION is drawn to the Notification appearing in the 1st week of every month, regarding the latest dates and times of acceptance
of Notices for publication in the weekly Gazettes, at the end of every weekly Gazette of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
All notices to be published in the weekly Gazettes shall close at 12.00 noon of each Friday, two weeks before the date of
publication. All Government Departments, Corporations, Boards, etc. are hereby advised that Notifications fixing closing dates and times
of applications in respect of Post-Vacancies, Examinations, Tender Notices and dates and times of Auction Sales, etc. should be prepared
by giving adequate time both from the date of despatch of notices to Govt. Press and from the date of publication, thereby enabling those
interested in the contents of such notices to actively and positively participate please note that inquiries and complaints made in respect
of corrections pertaining to notification will not be entertained after three months from the date of publication.
All notices to be published in the weekly Gazettes should reach Government Press two weeks before the date of publication i.e.
notices for publication in the weekly Gazette of 13th March, 2015 should reach Government Press on or before 12.00 noon on 27th
February, 2015.

IN terms of Section 8 of the Recovery of Loans by Banks (Special
Provisions) Act, No. 4 of 1990, it is hereby notified that the following
resolution was unanimously passed by the Board of Directors of
Union Bank of Colombo PLC at the meeting held on 30th May, 2014.
“Whereas Athula Anoj Kumarage and Sherin Romanthika
Haputhanthrige being Partners of “Euro Tiles” having its registered
office at No. 1118/5, Dhammodaya Mawatha, Battaramulla in the
Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, (hereinafter referred as
“the Obligors”) and Sherin Romanthika Haputhanthrige of No. 162,
Buthgamuwa Road, Rajagiriya (hereinafter referred as “the
Mortgagor”) obtained Financial facilities and whereas the Obligors
and Mortgagor executed Mortgage Bond No. 511 dated 19.03.2012
for Rs. 10 Million, attested by Irani Karunanayake, Notary Public
of Colombo and mortgaged and hypothecated the properties morefully
described in the Schedule hereto by way of security for the payment
of Rupees Ten Million (Rs. 10,000,000) and interest thereon due to

Bank”) on account of the said Financial facilities and whereas as at
12.11.2013 a sum of Rupees Nine Million Three Hundred and Three

(Rs. 9,303,482.57) being the total outstanding as at 12.11.2013 on
the said Financial facilities together with interest thereon from
13.11.2013 to the date of sale is due and owing from the said Obligors
and Mortgagor to the Union Bank on account of the aforesaid
Financial Facilities.

Schedule hereto mortgaged to Sampath Bank PLC aforesaid as
security for the said credit facilities by the said Bonds bearing
Nos. 1422 and 1659 to be sold in public auction by I. W. Jayasuriya,
Licensed Auctioneer of Kandy for the recovery of the said sum of
Rupees Twelve Million Five Hundred and Eighty-nine Thousand
Eleven and cents Twenty-six only (Rs. 12,589,011.26) together with
further interest on a sum of Rupees Five Million only (Rs. 5,000,000)
at the rate of Sixteen decimal Five per centum (16.5%) per annum and
further interest on a further sum of Rupees Seven Million One
Hundred and Twenty-nine Thousand One Hundred and Forty and
cents Ten only (Rs. 7,129,140.10) at the rate of Sixteen per centum
(16%) per annum from 11th November, 2014 to date of satisfaction
of the total debt due upon the said Bonds bearing Nos. 1422 and 1659
1. All that divided and defined allotment of land marked Lot A
depicted in Plan No. 1522 dated 02nd October, 1984 made by H. D.
G. K. P. Rodrigo, Licensed Surveyor (Certified as a True copy on
14th May, 2008 by T. B. Attanayake, Licensed Surveyor) of the land
called “Portion of Pallewatta and Angewanata” together with the
soil, trees, plantations, buildings and everything else standing
thereon bearing Assessment Nos. 371, 373 and 375 (255, 257 and
259-Old) and Halielagodabithera (Now Watta) situated at
Siyambalagastenna within the Municipal Council Limits of Kandy,
Central Province and which said Lot A is bouinded on the South-east
by Wall separating Assessment No. 365 remaining portion of Lot 02
in Plan No. 3507, on the South-west by Lot B in the said Plan
No. 1522, on the North-west by Hali Ela Godabitharapela now
Watta bearing Assessment No. 03, Kudarwate Mawatha and on the
North-east by Main Road from Katugastota to Kandy and containing
in extent Six decimal Two Five Perches (0A., 0R., 6.25P.) according
to the said Plan No. 1522 together with soil, trees, plantations,
buildings and everything else standing thereon and registered in
Volume/Folio A 410/57 at the Land Registry, Kandy.
2. All that divided and defined allotment of land marked Lot B
depicted in Plan No. 1522 made by H. D. G. K. P. Rodrigo, Licensed
Surveyor (Certified as a True copy on 14th May, 2008 by T. B.
Attanayake, Licensed Surveyor) of the land called “Portion of
Pallewatta and Angewanata” together with the soil, trees, plantations,
buildings and everything else standing thereon bearing Assessment
Nos. 371, 373 and 375aforesaid and which said Lot B is bounded on
the South-east by Wall separating Assessment No. 365 being the
remaining portion of Lot 02 in Plan No. 3507, on the South-west by
Drain separating Assessment No. 3, on the North-west by
Halielawatta and on the North-east by Lot A in the said Plan
No. 1522 and containing in extent One decimal Eight Nought Perches
(0A., 0R., 1.80P.) according to the said Plan No. 1522. Registered
in Volume/Folio A 394/238 at the Land Registry, Kandy.
