NORTH MORLEY NEWS
Dear Parents
Thank you to everyone who came
to the school disco and parent
meeting on Friday night. It was a
huge success. A very special
thank you to the P&C for the
fantastic organisation for the disco
and the teachers for making their
time available for the meetings.
Without your efforts, nights like
this would not happen.

It lists all of these weekly P&C programs for your reference.
WELCOME BACK DISCO/TWILIGHT PICNIC
What a fantastic turn out on Friday night. A BIG thank
you to all of the families that attended and contributed so
many beautiful dishes to the picnic. Thank you to the
teachers for opening up your classrooms. It was a
wonderful opportunity to find out what is in store for the
year ahead while the kids cut loose on the dance floor!
BUNNINGS SAUSAGE SIZZLE Our first Morley Bunnings Sausage Sizzle is set for Saturday 7th
March from 9.00am – 4.00pm. Save the date and come along and support this great fundraiser.
We would also appreciate as many parent helpers as possible to help cook and serve sausages.
The roster is posted in the old admin building.
GARDEN CLUB Last week our keen gardeners got their hands dirty
at the first GC meeting of the year. The children prepared the garden
beds for our first crop and the garden saw a new lick of paint. 2 new
worm farms were prepared and our new squirmy residence had their
first meal of scraps from the canteen kitchen. The kids were full of
questions about the worms and how they will benefit our garden.
SECRETARY ROLE STILL VACANT
The P&C is still looking for a Secretary for our committee. This role essentially manages all
correspondence received and records and publishes the minutes from the meetings. If you are interested
please speak to a committee member or let the front office know.
