Given below are the activities that were conducted in the academic year 2014-15: INTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES Participation in “Expressions” conducted by HAL Public school where our students participated in the Fancy dress, Recitation and Story telling competitions. Participation in Goloka Shades conducted by Iskon where the special achievers award was won. Participation in the MaRRS Pre-School Bee where students successfully completed the first level of the competition. 1 INTER CLASS ACTIVITIES Inter class competitions were held in different categories like Talent hunt, Fancy Dress, Colouring, Art And Craft, Recitation (English, Hindi and Kannada) ,Shloka Chanting, Storytelling (English, Hindi and Kannada) Dancing, Singing and Handwriting. Students participated in the Independence Day and Founders day celebration. Annual Day and Sports Day were conducted on a grand scale. Students were taken for field trips to the Post Office, Fire Station and places of worship. Other festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, Sankranti, Krishna Jayanthi, Raksha Bandhan, Children’s Day, Christmas, Market Day, Fruit Mela and Colour Day were celebrated. WORKSHOPS ATTENDED BY TEACHERS Constructive workshops were arranged for our team of teachers like: Workshop on ADHD(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) by Mrs. Roopmala Koneri Principal of New Horizon College of Education. Workshop on The techniques of Story Telling and theatre by Mr.Gaurav from The Confidence Zone of India. Orientation Programme for Teachers and Parents on Effective Parenting by Mrs. Phyllis Farias. Workshop on Child Abuse conducted by Mrs. Sushree Mishra from “Parivarthan”. Workshop on fire safety and the usage of Fire Extinguishers. 2 FOR EXISTING STUDENTS: FEES: The school fee can be paid in TWO installments. First installment may be paid from 20th March 2015 to 10th April 2015 only. Second installment will have to be paid between 20th Sept 2015 to 30th Sept 2015. Hence, please visit the site – www.eidcms.com and follow the below mentioned instructions: You’re Login ID – nhvm Password-123 (Common for all the parents) Please input the correct details in the form. For student’s ID card: please keep a digital photo(Passport size) of your child in the school uniform only (black and white), for uploading(the size of the photo should not exceed 2 MB). For parent’s ID card: photo of Father and Mother(Mandatory), Gaurdian 1 and Gaurdian 2 (if any) for uploading (the size of the photo should not exceed 2 MB). To upload the photo click attach under upload Images which is on the right hand side of the screen. Please wait till the photo is displayed completely. If you are scanning a photo then select only the photo area and scan. Select the resolution to be minimum 300dpi. Please verify the entered data before saving. No correction can be made after the data is saved and you exit the window. Press SAVE to complete the process. Please keep the order number and password with you for further reference. During the time at day care, the students will be involved in games, reading, art work and indoor/outdoor activities. Children will have a ‘Nap Time’ to help revitalize them. Students may also avail of special coaching classes for Karate, Dance (free style)Music- vocal/instrument (Key Board only) and Abacus conducted by experts for additional fees. Students will be provided nutritious lunch at lunch time. Milk and snacks will be provided at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The menu for the month will be updated on the web site.
