Doug Johnson Invite 2015
Dear Coaches,
The 15th annual Doug Johnson Bulldog Invitational Track Meet is on Friday, March 27, 2015, @ 4:00 PM at West Allis
Central H.S. This years teams will be – Wauwatosa East, Wauwatosa West, Pewaukee, Milwaukee King, Brookfield
East ,Brookfield Central, Milwaukee Messmer, Pius, West Allis Hale , Milwaukee Bradley Tech, Waukesha North,
Milwaukee Morse-Marshal, Adams-Friendship, and West Allis Central.
There will be 2 entries in all events. Long jumpers and Triple jumpers will have 3 jumps-no finals. Shot Put 4 throws-no
finals. Opening heights for the High jump and Pole vault will be determined by the coaches at coaches meeting at
4:OOPM (in 2nd floor faculty lounge).The meet will be scored I 0-8-6-5 -4-3-2-I, the Relays 10-8-6-4-.3-2-1. There will be
medals for 1st , 2nd, and 3rd in all events .Team trophies for 1st and 2nd place (Boys and Girls), and outstanding male and
female athlete awards.
We will need help in running the l60Om and 320Om (timers and lap counters).
We ask West Allis Central and Pius to run the Long Jump and Waukesha North and Milwaukee King to run the Triple
Jump, and Pewaukee and Milwaukee Bradley Tech to run the High Jump, and Adams-Friendship and Brookfield
Central to run the Pole Vault, and West Allis Hale and Milwaukee Messmer to run the Shot Put. Please bring some
helpers if your school is running a field event. No Spikes allowed on the track. There will be T -Shirts for sale. Concession
stand will be open. COACHES: please have your athletes look both ways before crossing the track, and police your area
before you leave.
