to sponsor a pinata. For $60.00 we will get a standard pinata (fancy ones cost
more) and we will put in some candy and California Lottery Scratchers and
drink tokens for Margaritas. You may put in some items of your own choice to

Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries
Stud Dog Class – For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the
same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered in one of the Regular Classes or
if a Champion of Record, in Best of Breed competition, but must be entered in the Stud Dog class. The
Get must be entered in one of the Regular Classes or Non-Regular Classes or, if a Champion of Record, in
Best of Breed competition. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be
judged based on the merits of the Get.
While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud
Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal
under the dog show rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed.
Brood Bitch Class - same as for Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for
Get.
*Chapter 11, Section 8 of the "Rules Applying to Dog Shows" provides that a neutered male may be
entered as a Stud Dog in the Stud Dog Class and a spayed Bitch may be entered as a Brood Bitch in the
Brood Bitch Class.
Brace Class – For two dogs of the same breed, performing in unison, having at least one common
owner and presented by a maximum of two handlers. Dogs do not need to be entered in any other
class. Dogs comprising a brace class must be named at the time of entry and full particulars must be
given for each dog on individual forms. If a dog which is to be part of a brace is not entered in another
class, it must be entered for “Brace Class only”. An entry form for a dog entered in another class and
entered as part of a brace must be marked accordingly in the space provided for additional classes as
“Brace Class”. If more than one Brace is entered by the same owner, the dogs comprising each Brace
must be so designated, “Brace No. 1,” “Brace No. 2” etc.
NOTE: As the judge’s decision in the Stud Dog Class, Brood Bitch Class, and Brace Class is based on the
merits of more than one dog/bitch, not one of the dogs/bitches making up the entry judged first in these
classes will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won in these classes.

entire week. Seats are reserved on a first come first served basis. If you want to sit with certain
individuals, you must reserve and pay for all seats at the same time. This way you are guaranteed
to have that place to rest your weary bones and enjoy the judging. You don't have to get up at
first light to go put something on a seat to hold it, and when you want to watch Specials judging,
your seat is there for you. There will also be "free" seating available at ringside.
Keeshond Club of America, Inc. - BREEDERS EDUCATION
The Breeders Ed committee presentation is a bit different this year than what we have had in the
past. We have secured Ms. Alex Wyman, Attorney at Law from Davis, CA who specializes in
estate planning for our pets. The presentation will cover how to plan for your dogs in the event
of death or serious illness, how to set up a trust for their care and how to word your will so that
there is no mistake as to your wishes. We will also have materials & information as to what the
AKC will require for the assignment of a power of attorney or transfer of ownership in the event
of death or illness. We hope that you will attend as this is a subject we never think about until it
becomes too late.
The Keeshond Donor’s Circle Trust presents a seminar with:

2015 Companion Parade
During the week long activities of the 2015 Keeshond Club of America National, Keeshonden that
are rescues, service dogs, and companions that hold a special place in the hearts of their owners
will be honored. To show our appreciation for these special dogs they will be honored in some
unique ways.
A Companion Parade will be held on Friday, May 8th after all judging is completed. Their pictures
and special stories will be placed on THE DISPLAY OF DISTINCTION board for all to read.
Their owner(s) will receive a special welcome bag just for rescues, service dogs and special
companions
We are looking for those special dogs that have come into your life and into your heart… the dogs
that have helped you cope and overcome disabilities…the dogs who have visited nursing homes
and hospitals bringing their own special Keesie smile with them…the dogs who found themselves
alone until you found you couldn’t live without them…and we need you to tell us about them. We
need you to share what makes your dog so special.
