If anyone would like to take advantage of these handy services, just con‐
tact Dan or Andi and we can get you signed up. The annual billing went out in January. If you currently u lize either of these services and no longer want them, please no fy the Pro Shop. Breakfast Starts at 7:00 AM Shotgun Start at 8:30 AM This event will be an 18 hole 4‐man scramble with breakfast preceding the golf. The Kick‐Off event is open to any member of the Lake Valley Men’s Golf Associa on. Cost for Kick
‐Off is $30 per person. If you have not already paid your 2015 MGA Dues, bring an ad‐
di onal $25. A sign‐up sheet is available in the Pro Shop, so be sure to get your name on it. The MGA Monday Night Men’s League is scheduled to begin May 4th. It’s me to line up a partner and get signed up. Call or stop by the Pro Shop to sign‐up your team and be sure to designate whether you want the “Up” or “Down” division. 2 Frost Reminder With the winter season we are in daily frost watch mode. Since the golf course is locat‐
ed in a valley next to the lake, we o en have frost even when others around the ar‐
ea do not. The golf course will remain closed each day un l such me as the frost thaws enough to make playing safe for the turf. If you have an early tee me, you can call ahead to check on the day’s condi ons. Congrats to last month’s winner Doug Gale. 3 Wednesday Morning Senior Scrambles Resume April 1st Please look for the first week’s sign‐up sheet during the last week in March. Play will begin at 9:00 each Wednesday in April. Mark your calendars and plan to a end the season opener. Remember that you can check the schedule and weekly results on our “Wednesday Senior Scramble” page of our website. Hole‐in‐One Congratula ons go to Walt Kennedy for recording his first ever hole‐in‐one on February 7th. Walt’s perfect shot was made on Hole #13 from the Gold Tees. Witnessing the shot were Doug Gale, Ron Woelbling and Garre Archibald. Remember Walt, the first one is the hardest! Sunday Couples League Lake Valley will again have a Sunday Couples League this year. Play will begin in early May and run throughout the summer. Be sure to sign‐up in the Pro Shop early, so we can get the divisions assigned and match schedule posted. This will again be a 9 hole handi‐
capped couples scramble format with weekly winners and an end of the season payoff for the high point ge ers. Winter Golf Cart Traffic Again this year, golf cart traffic will remain “90 degrees” unless weather dictates something else. We do ask that you use cart paths whenever possible and drive in the “Green Grass” areas as much as possible when not on the paths. Please con nue to keep the carts away from the tees and greens to avoid damage to these sensi ve areas. Request for E‐Mail Addresses In an effort to better communicate with the mem‐

Highway Sign Fundraiser Recipe of the Month Lake Valley A fundraising golf tournament has been scheduled for April 19th to help raise funds to build a new Lake Valley highway frontage sign. This event will be an 18 hole 4‐person flighted scramble. You can pick your own team or sign‐up individually and we will pair you up on a team. Look for flyers and the sign‐up sheet in the Pro Shop. Leonard was born and raised in the Jefferson City area. He moved here 10
years ago.
He has been working for Lake Valley since May of
2010. He started working on the grounds and
then changed to our shop mechanic, which is what
he had done prior to working at Lake Valley.
Leonard’s hobbies include 4 wheelers and hot
rods. Leonard says the he really enjoys working
here and enjoys all of his fellow employees.
