Education and SARA
The San Angelo Restaurant Association’s main focus is to provide support and guidance to members of our community who
would like to further their career in the food service industry.
We are actively involved with the Central High School Culinary
Arts program and will work to help establish a classroom at
the Lake View High School. From mentoring students in our
restaurants, to having teachers intern with us, as well as giving
scholarship money, we try to make our industry one in which
people will want to be a part of.
We have given over $100,000 dollars in scholarships, donations, and support for the Culinary Arts program since 2000.
We do this with the support of our wonderful community who
comes out to the Taste of San Angelo, and now also our “Will
Golf For Food” golf tournament. With the funds that we raise
we will continue to fulfill our mission of educating our leaders
of tomorrow.
