The Ballina Shire real estate market has made significant gains since the
price declines in 2011 & 2012.
Some areas have performed better than others but overall the increase
in the median house price over the last 2 years has been in the vicinity of
14%.
There is no doubt that a sustained period of record low interest rates has seen a renewal in buyer confidence which is evidenced by the fact that the volume of residential sales in the Ballina Shire has increased by some 32% over a 12 month
period.
Another positive factor is that over the last 2 years the number of investors buying in the Ballina market has increased
from 29% to 38% of all residential sales.
Below are the details on how various suburbs have performed over the past 2 years.

The Mother’s Day Classic fun run & walk has become a must-do event for thousands
of families, friends & community groups, who revel in a festive event that supports a

Since it began in 1998, Mother’s Day Classic has contributed $24.3 million to the
National Breast Cancer Foundation’s research program, making it the largest

5 year survival rates have increased to nearly 90%.
The event is a fund ay out and everyone can join in—you can bring your mum, your
sisters, your daughters or a baby in a pram, and husbands, brothers and sons are all
welcome too. You can run the event & try to beat a fitness goal, or you can take it
easy & just enjoy a stroll with your family & friends.
