Dear Fellow Traveler,
• Intuitive, gracious service provided by a staff passionate
about pleasing our guests
It is my pleasure to present you with an overview of our 2015 Seabourn Supports UNESCO
program. This unique alliance between Seabourn and UNESCO promotes and supports
sustainable tourism while offering you unparalleled experiences and insight into the
world’s most treasured destinations.
UNESCO’s World Heritage program is dedicated to the idea that certain places on Earth
have intrinsic importance that transcends the national interests of the countries where
they are located. Comprising a valuable human legacy worthy of protection on behalf
of all humankind, these places are designated as World Heritage sites.
As the map inside demonstrates, we will visit 82 World Heritage sites on our shore
excursions and tours in 2015, giving you the opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation
for these remarkable places as well as for the vital work UNESCO is doing. This year will
also feature a new series of speakers, bringing distinguished guests and UNESCO experts
on board as part of our Seabourn Conversations enrichment program.
You will also be able to choose from a wide selection of World Heritage and Discovery
Tours at World Heritage sites, which offer exclusive access and in-depth insight.
Together, we can continue to celebrate these cherished destinations today while
preserving and protecting them for generations yet to come. I encourage you to review
the information inside and visit Seabourn.com to learn more about the many exciting
discoveries possible through this significant partnership.
Sincerely,
Richard Meadows
