Row 6 k2, *sl1 wyif, k1 wyib; rep from *, end k2. Rows 7 & 8 Knit DIRECTIONS Note: Slip all stitches purlwise CO 49 sts, leaving 12” tail for sewing side seam. MATERIALS 2 oz #4 worsted weight yarn for each bracelet NOTE Two color bracelet also requires 1 oz for color B Size 6 knitting needles (or size required to obtain gauge) #22 tapestry needle, stitch holder, stitch markers Cable Needle for cable bracelet Purchased cuff bracelet with 2 ½” interior diameter, approximately 1 ½” high GAUGE With size 6 needles in St st, 25 sts = 4” *Take time to check gauge* Note Smaller needles than usual are used to create a firm fabric. Adjust as needed for your bracelet. Foundation Rows With color A, work two rows of Stockinette Stitch. Begin Pattern Change to color B, work Two Color Garter Slip Stitch Pattern alternating two rows of colors A & B for 16 rows. With B, work Rows 1 & 2 one more time. With A, work in st st until piece is long enough to snugly wrap around bracelet. BO leaving 20” tail. FINISHING With wrong sides together and matching pattern, sew sides together to form circle. With slip stitch portion around outside, slip piece over bracelet and wrap Stockinette Stitch portion to inside. Stitch pieces closed around bracelet. Weave in ends. LACE BRACELET Arrow Lace Pattern (multiple of 10 sts plus 1) Row 1 (RS) K1, *(yo, [sl 1, k1 psso]) twice, k1, [k2tog, yo] twice, k1; rep from * to end. With lace portion around outside, slip piece over bracelet and wrap Stockinette Stitch portion to inside. Stitch pieces closed around bracelet. Weave in ends. CABLE BRACELET NOTE This bracelet is worked lengthwise to fit around the outside of the bracelet. Special Abbreviation 8-st RC Sl 4 sts to cn and hold to back, k4, k4 from cn CO 24 stitches. Row 1 (RS) P4, k8, p2, k10 Row 2 and all WS rows: P10, k2, p8, k4 Row 3 Rep Row 1 Row 5 P4, 8-st RC, p2, k10 Row 7 Rep Row 1 Row 8 Rep Row 2 Rep Rows 1-8 until piece is long enough to fit snugly around outside of bracelet, ending with Row 8. FINISHING Sew ends together matching pattern to form circle. Place piece over bracelet with cable on outside. Fold plain Stockinette Stitch portion to inside of bracelet.
