A summer spent at Centercourt Athletic Club will definitely be one
to remember! It is the perfect setting for your children to enjoy
exciting days filled with tennis, swimming, and other fun activities.
Centercourt is a place for your children to grow, learn, and, most
of all, have the summer of a lifetime! Our campers benefit from
spending action-packed summer days on the grounds of the
Northeast’s premier tennis/sports facility.
Centercourt summer camp facilities include:

Swimming pool with certified lifeguards
Fields and courts for soccer, basketball,
volleyball, and platform tennis
Centercourt Pre-school Half Day Camp (ages 3-5)
Centercourt Tennis & Multi-Sport Camp (ages 7 & up)
This nurturing program will help your children develop skills in various
sports, participate in arts & crafts, and learn to swim as well as
develop motor skills, self-confidence, and good sportsmanship.
Lunch is served daily from 11:15am–11:45pm followed by tennis
in our air-conditioned courts. Pick-up is at 1:30pm.
In addition to a half day of tennis, campers will play a variety of
different sports each day, including basketball, soccer, beach
tennis, volleyball and other activities designed to develop
movement and motor skills. Lunch and free-swim will occur
daily from 12:00-1:30pm.
Centercourt Junior Development Tennis Camp
Centercourt High School Training Tennis Camp
Monday – Friday: 9am–1:30pm
(for novice to experience players ages 6 & up)
Monday – Friday: Full Day 9am–4pm, or
Half Day options: 9am–1:30pm & 12pm–4pm
This camp is broken down into the following categories:
■ Red Ball (Centercourt I & II): Ages 6-7
■ Orange Ball (Centercourt III & IV): Ages 8-10
■ Orange Ball Academy: Ages 8-10
■ Green Ball (Pre Competition): Ages 10-12
■ Yellow Ball (Centercourt Advantage): Ages 12-18
Our teaching methodology helps you learn quicker, rally sooner and
improve your athletic skills. We help you build a better technical
tennis foundation and learn how to play tennis in a fun and productive
setting. Whether you are new to tennis or are an experienced player,
we can help you to bring your game to a new level. Lunch is provided
and campers have the opportunity to swim daily during our noon to
1:30pm break.
Monday – Friday: Full Day 9am–4pm
Monday – Thursday: 3:30pm– 6pm
(weeks 2-9 only)
The High School Training Tennis Camp is designed for players at
the Varsity and Junior Varsity levels and also those entering high
school in the fall. This program is designed to facilitate improvement
in all of our players’ games during the summer months.
The camp will consist of instruction in both singles and doubles
play; challenging drills and games to reinforce proper technique,
footwork and positioning. We include athletic skill development
and a fitness component which is supervised and implemented by
our own certified personal trainers which will prepare players for
the rigors of competition at the high school level. This camp will be
run indoors on the hard tennis courts.
Centercourt Advantage Camp will be
located at Centercourt at Florham Park.
Centercourt’s 2015 Junior Excellence Tennis Camp and Competitive Training Tennis Camp will meet at Centercourt
of Morristown (Performance Sports Academy) each morning. The camps will utilize both the Morristown and Florham
Park locations each week and transportation to and from locations will be arranged by Centercourt. Afternoon pickup
will be at Morristown each day unless otherwise noted. The Performance Sports Academy features:

Junior Excellence Tennis Camp (ages 8-11)
Competitive Training Tennis Camp
Players in this program possess the talent, character, work ethic,
and desire to eventually enter our Centercourt Performance Training
Center. In our Junior Excellence Program, players receive High
Performance Training, including: proper technical training, point
play, athletic skill development training, movement training and
local tournament coaching. Lunch is provided daily during our noon
to 1:00pm break.
This camp is for tennis players who are committed to developing skills
required to compete in high school, USTA tournaments, and college.
It is designed to prepare players to compete on a regular basis.
Players will learn:
■ Aggressive point construction
■ Transition shots
■ Weapon development
■ Increased racquet head speed
■ Varied serves (flat, topspin, and slice)
■ Strategic/mental skills
Monday – Friday: Full Day 8am–5pm
This camp is age and skill level-based, requiring director’s approval

Drills and point play are supplemented each day with a conditioning,
footwork, and an agility component. Lunch is provided daily during
our noon to 1:00pm break.

Centercourt Terms of Enrollment
• Priority registration is given to Centercourt members.
• Full payment is due upon registration.
• Partial refunds are given only in the event of illness or
exceptional family emergencies.
Lunch
Lunch will be served daily (not including high school camp), and the
cost is included in the camp pricing. The daily menu will consist of
popular and healthy food choices. Let us know prior to the week of
camp if your child has food allergy or dietary needs so that we can
try to accommodate them. Fresh fruit and a salad bar offered daily.

3. The more back to back weeks of camp that you can play,
the faster that your tennis skills will improve. Three weeks
of consecutive tennis camp is good, but five weeks or
more can produce more significant results.
4. Playing in USTA-sanctioned tournaments, Junior Team Tennis and
practice matches will help players to improve their competitive
skills. Being a successful competitor requires a commitment
to train hard and compete on a regular basis.
