Printing in Clay: A Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration
with PCA Ceramics Coordinator Kyle Houser and
PCA Printshop Coordinator Conor McGrann
August 24 – 28 & August 31 – September 4
Price: $440 members, $465 non-members
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
At the helm of PCA’S printmaking and ceramics programs are
Studio Coordinators who are experts and working artists in each

strengths of each program, combining the two mediums to create
a multi-layered educational experience appropriate for both
ceramicists and printmakers, beginners and advanced artists.
Students will create custom photographic silkscreens and carved
reliefs to create finished prints in both techniques and then apply
these processes to the ceramic medium, producing dynamic and
graphic surfaces in clay through stamping, underglazes and digital
decals. Students will end the experience with multiple finished
works, both one-dimensional like works on paper, wood and clay tile,
as well as three-dimensional works like vases. Tuition includes 25
lbs of clay, glazes and firings. Students should purchase a clay tool kit, which is available onsite. Black and primary colors in inks are included. Supply list provided.

Huff and other visiting artists. Students will
