Circles is an approach that takes help beyond “doing” for the poor to befriending and walking with poor families in their struggle to
break the cycle of poverty. The Circles strategy, which depends on allying specific, committed community members with poor families
over a two to three year period, is proving itself to be one of the most effective approaches to ending poverty. This is an opportunity
to learn how this system works and how we can introduce the Circles program in our Tri-Valley. Registration fee: $25. Transportation
and lodging not included. For more information, including recommended lodging, call Rob Jennings-Teats or Steve Shaw at (775-8821436) or [email protected].
