PARTNER report
Southern Adelaide,
Fleurieu, Kangaroo Island
Medicare Local (SAFKIML)
The Change and Adaptation partnership between Country
Arts SA and Southern Adelaide, Fleurieu, Kangaroo Island
Medicare Local has generated a number of projects that
incorporated the staff and agencies within SAFKIML. New
projects also evolved from working alongside staff. This has
been in line with the initial goals of the program and has
achieved much in terms of building relationships between
staff, artists and the program.
With a focus on health and wellbeing we have worked with
staff and networks such as: Southern Fleurieu Health Service;
Carer Support (Victor Harbor and Kangaroo Island) and
Mental Health team (Victor Harbor and Kangaroo Island);
Victor Harbor Medical Centre; Kangaroo Island Field Day.
Funded through The Australia Council for the Arts, Creative Communities Partnership Initiative
with Country Arts SA and Southern Adelaide, Fleurieu, Kangaroo Island Medicare Local.
