Location: Arrowhead Community Center
Res/Nonres: $69/$89
Min/Max: 10/20
Ages 3-5 years
The goal of the STRIDER Camp is to provide a solid foundation of balance
and the ability to stride. Riding a bike is a major milestone and Strider
camp will provide the tools to teach your child to ride on two wheels.
STRIDER™ No-Pedal Balance Bikes were developed specifically to
help toddlers and young children of all abilities to learn balance and
coordination BEFORE pedaling. The simple, no-pedal design allows
even the youngest children to learn to ride a bike, avoiding tricycle tipovers and training wheel wobbles, and instilling considerable confidence
and stellar bike handling skills sure to last a lifetime. STRIDER™ NoPedal Balance Bikes encourage the development of spatial awareness,
balance and basic motor skills so that all children can reach their
maximum riding potential faster, better and safer. You will be able to
take your bike home to continue to practice the skills learned. There will
be a $70 bike deposit. At the end of the class you can keep the bike and
forfeit your deposit or return the bike and we will return your $70.
