SERVIWRAP® TB30B Pipeline Protection SERVIWRAP® TB30B Anti-corrosion Pipewrap Excellent Adhesion Pressure sensitive, self-adhesive anti- corrosion bituminous rubber compound provides selfsealed joints at longitudinal and end of roll overlaps, and is highly resistant to cathodic disbondment. (A primer is not required to trigger full adhesive bond to the substrata). Use Designed for use on buried pipe and fittings. High Performance Unique extruded carrier made from high grade PVC engineered for toughness, conformability and controlled elasticity. Protective Interleaf Overwidth silicone coated interleaf paper proud of the tape by 10 - 25mm to prevent edge of roll dirt ‘pick up’ during site handling, to prolong shelf life and to facilitate fast, clean removal of the interleaf paper. Centre Line Marking Product name and batch number/date of manufacture printed down the middle of the tape for product identification and guide line for 50-55% overlap compliance. Surface to be thoroughly cleaned to remove rust, mill scale, weld spatter, dirt, dust, grease and other deleterious matter. 2. Dry, clean, prepared surface to be primed by brush with one thin continuous coat of SERVIWRAP primer (quick-drying) which must be allowed to dry completely. 3. Peel back the interleaf paper from the first 225mm of SERVIWRAP and placing sticky compound face to the pipe begin wrapping, removing interleaf and employing tension to achieve conformability and intimate adhesion. 4. Longitudinal overlap should be 25mm or greater according to specification and end laps a minimum of 150mm. 5. Coated pipe must be handled and stored in such a manner that does not harm the coating. Coated pipe shall be handled with non-abrading slings or other lifting equipment that does not damage the tape coating. All skids etc. used to support coated pipe shall be padded.
