The farmers and board of Chatham Mills Farmers' Market are preparing for our fifth year in Pittsboro. We've seen our market
welcomed by the community, with a diverse and loyal set of shoppers seeking us out for delicious local fruit, healthy local
produce, meat, dairy and crafts each week. 2014 was an amazing year for us. We’ve continued to make wonderful
improvements to our outreach and organization, including the craft and plant sale days that began in 2013. This year we’ve
added several new vendors in order to increase the diversity and selection of products in the market, all while keeping our
standards high and our offerings local.
Our sponsors have been critical to the success of the market. Your support helps to provide Pittsboro with not just a reliable
source of fresh local produce, it builds community and supports Chatham's agricultural identity. We see the Saturday market
as a place for Pittsboro to connect through healthy local food and community. We invite you to share in the vision with us.
Your contribution will go towards the following:
 Advertising with local events and media (Pittsboro Pepper Festival, First Sundays, and the Chatham County Line)
 More time for our market manager to promote our market and in the community and plan great market events
 Increased Customer Appreciation days, including our 5 birthday party on May 9!
 Improved signage along 15-501 close to the market and around town, as well as outside town on the 64 bypass and
other roads leading into town.
