4th Annual Cupcake Showdown
Ensemble Company begins
CTW’s popular Cupcake Showdown is just around
the corner! We need volunteers to help plan and run
the event, items donated to our auction, and of course,
we need you to mark it down on your calendars and
tell your friends! April 18th, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the Tansey-Zimmerman Theatre as well as the classrooms upstairs.
Mo the Terrible rehearsal process
This year’s theme is Somewhere Over the Rainbow in
celebration of our performance of The Wizard of Oz this
summer (see page 2 of this newsletter for the dates on
that). We’ll have Oz-themed crafts, face painting, a raffle,
and of course, CUPCAKES. We’re bringing back your
old favorites including Scrumptious, 3-time Cupcake
champions 7 Little Cupcakes, Cupcakes by Ashley, and
more!
If you want to volunteer or have items to donate,
please contact Board Vice President Tracy Hudson at
[email protected].
Ensemble Company, our 9-12 year old company of performers, has begun rehearsals for their May 15-17th production of Mo the Terrible, written by CTW students.
This play requires a wide variety of costumes and props!
Robots, puppies, large plates of spaghetti—we’ll need help
for sure! Any parents who are interested in helping pull
costumes and props from upstairs, or help us make these
unique pieces, should inform Aimee at [email protected]. We will be pulling costumes and props during rehearsals, starting March 31st (after the PlayersCo play
is over).
Tickets for Mo the Terrible will be available for sale online
starting April 24th. If your child’s school wishes to attend
our field trip performance of Mo the Terrible on May 15,
they should contact Rick at [email protected].
