Explore Delaware. Delaware is such a vital part of a student’s OWU experience. Explore
Delaware a bit on your own before officially checking in for Slice. Grab lunch at Son of Thurman
or Bun’s. Grab a cup of coffee at Choffey’s Coffee and Confection or Something Sweet Coffee
and Bakery. Or catch a matinee movie at the historic Strand Theatre!

“Early Bird” Walking Campus Tour. If you are unable to stay for Monday’s activities or want to
free up your Monday schedule a bit, feel free to arrive early to take a walking tour of campus before
the Slice festivities officially begin. Be sure to be here at least 10 minutes before the tour start time.
Walking tour lasts approximately 60 minutes. Depart from Hamilton-Williams Campus Center
(HWCC), JayWalk (bldg. # 1) Sign-up at the Tour Table.

students love to – from one of a variety of food trucks (complimentary food voucher provided).
Join some students in a cookie bake-off or kick your feet up on one of the Stuy fire pits. Test your
steadiness in a game of giant Jenga or see if you can beat the buzzer in a friendly CatchPhrase duel.
No matter what you choose to do while “Stuyin up Late”, you’re bound to have fun!

Rock Talks. Come listen to Ohio Wesleyan’s current students share their connection of
theory to practice to their educational experiences in our very own version of “TED Talks.” Students will be presenting on their personal research opportunities, grant
proposals, off-campus travel, mission trips, and freshman involvement. This is your chance
to learn, not only about life on campus and in the classroom, but hands-on and minds-on
learning that students experience here at OWU and around the world.
