“Hemp” from Lucci Yarns
Sweater Weather Returns
I have a confession to make. I may have more cowls, scarves, fingerless gloves,
hats, and sweaters planned than I can possibly knit this fall. I just can’t help it.
That change in the light, the tang in the air, those amazing colors – who can
resist the inspiration? It’s no secret that autumn is an exciting season for knitters
and crocheters. At Yarn Garden, it means big boxes, filled to the brim, arriving
every day packed with new discoveries and timeless classics.
It also means back to school with a new term of Yarn Garden University. This is the
perfect time to sharpen your skill set or learn a fresh technique. We have a great
line up of classes for all levels, and I’m sure you’ll find one just right for you! Remember, you can choose between a 20% discount or double Supportland points on
class materials when you purchase your supplies at Yarn Garden.
Not quite ready to let go of summer? There is still lots of gorgeous weather to look
forward to! One of our favorite new yarns is “Hemp” from Lucci Yarns, ($7.95,
233yds). This lace-weight is unlike any hemp we’ve seen before. With a slight sheen
and a smooth hand, it knits up so light and soft. I’m working on a little striped
bandana, just right for those sunny days with snap in them.
Drop in and help us celebrate the return of sweater weather!
