American Airlines is good for Germany
American Airlines operates up to 42 weekly flights from Germany to five destinations across
the United States.
Overview
•American began services to Germany in 1985, flying from Frankfurt (FRA) to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
•From its hubs in the United States, American offers connections to 339 cities in 54 countries throughout the world, with
approximately 6,700 daily flights. American offers up to six daily flights from Germany to the United States, operating from FRA,
Düsseldorf (DUS) and Munich (MUC).
•Following the merger agreement with American Airlines, US Airways flights from FRA to Philadelphia (PHL) and Charlotte (CLT) and
flights from MUC to PHL are now part of the American Airlines network.
•American operates from Terminal 2 at FRA, Terminal 1 at MUC and Terminal C at DUS.
•Starting May 15, 2015, American will begin a new seasonal service from FRA to Miami International Airport (MIA).
