2015 Rules and Points addendum

2015 CISA Tour
Rules and Regulations
Eligibility and Divisions: The CISA Tour is open to all Male Amateurs ages 45 and older.
Members compete in four different age divisions based on their age as of the opening round of
the season. Divisions include the 45 Plus (ages 45-54), 55 Plus (55-64), 65 Plus (65-74), and 75
Plus (75 & older).
Dress Code: Collared shirts are required. Shorts must be at least to mid-thigh. No jeans allowed.
Event Rules of Play:
1. USGA Rules shall govern play unless excepted below.
2. We will try to play from the following yardages. 45 & 55 Plus- 6400 yds., 65 Plus- 6000 yds.,
and 75 Plus- 5700 yds. Verify your tees at the event registration table.
3. All longer grassy areas regularly kept over 6" tall will be treated like lateral hazards, but you
may ground your club if not actually marked. In other words, you may drop within two clublengths of the point of entry or a line keeping that point between you and the hole if you lose your
ball or choose not to play it. There must be clear evidence the ball went into the grassy area.
4. The one ball rule is not in effect.
5. Yardage devices are permitted.
6. Treat the host sites with respect and replace divots, repair ball marks, and rake bunkers.
Prizes: Players compete for both gross and net prize money. Your tour handicap is subtracted
from your actual gross score for a net score. Approximately 60% of the prize money is net. Entry
fees include golf, cart, and prizes. The entry fee dollars left after course fees will form the event
prize purse. Half of your prize winnings can be spent on future entry fees with the other half used
for Tour merchandise. Members wanting to use their merchandise credits at a facility will take a
5% fee against those winnings since the purchase of tour merchandise does help defray tour
expenses and we forego that when money is spent off Tour.
Player of the Year Points: Refer to the page below detailing how points are awarded at each
event. Both Gross and Net points will lead to a Gross and Net Player of the Year at season's end.
Players Challenge: Everyone can enter our final event at Kokopelli on October 10, 11 in Marion,
IL. No longer playing East versus West, we will make two even teams and play our exciting
match play format. We will honor two veteran tour members each year and name both squads
after them. Watch for the announcement of our honorees at mid-season. You will also be
competing for prize money at the event.

Welcome to the PLAYOFFS!
At our recent Spring Meeting, we approved an exciting new points system along with a playoff system
somewhat like that used on the PGA Tour and NASCAR. We are expecting lots of excitement as the
season progresses. When you add our new playoff system to our new Tour Championship at Metamora in
late September, you have the recipe for a great season on the CISA Tour. Join the fun today. For more info
