Right Front
Leave a 1 yard long end to 3-needle shoulder seams together. Pick up 22 (22, 24, 24, 24) stitches along a crochet chain
with size 5 16” circular needle.
NOTE: Always hook wrap to WS on following row & knit or purl with stitch
Rows 1, 3 & 5: (RS) Knit
Row 2: Purl to last 16 sts, W&T
Row 4: Purl to last 8 sts, W&T
Row 6: Purl
Front increase rows:
Row 1: Knit to last stitch, F&B
Row 2: Purl
Repeat last 2 rows 7 (7, 7, 9, 9) times, then row 1 once. 23 (23, 23, 27, 27) rows. 31 (31, 33, 35, 35) sts. Cut yarn.
Left Front
Leave long end same as right front. Pick up 22 (22, 24, 24, 24) stitches along crochet chain with 2nd size 5 16” circular
needle.

Transfer back shoulder sts from crochet chain to 2nd size 5 24’ circular needle
Transfer front shoulder sts from crochet chain to size 5 16” needles
Place back & front RS together & 3-needle across shoulder seams with size 4 needle
Place center 36 (36, 36, 40, 40) stitches on stitch holder. Continue with uncut back yarn.
Preparation Round 1: (RS) Knit across back sts, Pm, pick up 34 (34, 38, 38, 42) sts along edge (sleeve top), Pm, knit
across front sts, Pm, pick up 2nd 34 (34, 38, 38, 42) sts. Remember to hook wrapped sts to WS & knit or purl with stitch.

Continue to knit 3 rounds & increase 16 sts in the 4th round until you have this number of stitches: Back & Front: 112

Knit 2 rounds
Dividing front & back from sleeves:
Knit across back sts, cable cast on 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) sts. Thread scrap yarn through 1st sleeve stitches, knit across front sts,
cable cast on 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) sts. Thread 2nd sleeve sts on scrap yarn. Tie ends of scrap yarn together.
Continue to knit on these 234 (252, 270, 288, 306) sts until top measures 18 (19, 20 21, 22) inches down center back.
Lace Edge (4 inches deep)
18 stitch repeat pattern. Change to size 5 24” circular needle
Preparation round: K13, * W&T, (P1, K1)x 4, P1, W&T, K27. Repeat from *
Rnd 1: Sl 1, K2tog, PSSO, K2tog, K1 (YO, K1)x 6, K1, K2tog, Sl 1, K2tog, PSSO

Repeat last 4 rounds 6 times, then round 1 again. 29 rounds all together.
Turn to WS & bind off knitwise.
Sleeves
Transfer sts from scrap yarn to 16” size 6 needle
Pick up 6 (6, 6, 8, 10) sts along cable cast on sts. To get correct number of sleeve stitches the pick up stitches maybe 1
stitch more or less. Knit around to center at underarm. 72 (80, 88, 98, 108) sts. Pm. Knit 7 (5, 5, 3, 3) rounds.
Next round: K2tog, knit to last 2 sts. Ssk.
Continue to decrease 2 sts every 8th (6th, 6th, 4th, 4th) round until 54 (54, 58, 58, 62) sts remain. Knit 12 (10, 2, 16, 8)
rounds. 84 (88, 92, 96, 100) rounds all together.
Sleeve Band

Make 1: Pull up horizontal thread below next stitch with right needle & place on left needle and knit. Be
careful not to twist stitch.
Ssk: Slip 2 sts individually knitwise, insert left needle into these 2 sts from left to right and knit them
together.
3-Needle Bind Off: With stitches on 2 needles, place RS together. *K2tog (1 st from each needle); repeat from * once. **Pass first stitch of right hand needle over second stitch (1 stitch bound off), knit next
