From design to packaging, the production
process of the compression line takes place entirely in our Italian plants. Up to four
manual production inspections are carried
out for the Nady line.
All the Nady line products undergo the Sanitized antibacterial and antifungal treatment.

This is obtained thanks to a special manufacturing technique and use of particular machines.
This style allows for:
a. the heel to precisely fit in its correct position,
conferring greater stability to the tight and preventing this from moving while walking

HEAVY LEGS, SWOLLEN ANKLES OR A FEELING OF FATIGUE?
The main causes of these conditions derive principally from incorrect living
habits. Limited muscle activity causes the leg muscles to contract, the muscle mass increases, thus compressing the veins. This leads to blood stasis
inside the veins preventing it from flowing back to the heart.
HOW DO WE PREVENT VENOUS HYPERTENSION?
By exerting a sufficient outside pressure to contrast the internal blood
pressure, so as to force it to gradually flow back to the heart.
The graduated compression stockings help the returning process of the
blood thanks to the differentiated counter-pressure they exert along the leg.
The constant use of differentiated compression stockings or tights
improves the venous circulation of the legs.
WHAT DOES GRADUATED MEAN?
Graduated refers to the pressure exerted from the strongest at the ankle and gradually reducing at the calf and thigh. This gradual pressure
may change depending on the needs of those wearing it. From a light
compression for those wanting to benefit from simply support to a greater
compression for those who need a more intense treatment.
HOW IS THE COMPRESSION OF THE STOCKING (OR ELASTIC COMPRESSION) EXPRESSED?
This is defined in terms of compression classes, which the specialist refers to
when identifying the type of tights to be used. It is measured at specific points
of the leg and expressed in millimetres of mercury (mmHg).

How to prevent
circulation problems
The graduated stockings and tights can be one of the most
effective and natural treatments for preventing and dealing
with circulation problems. As well as using compression
stockings, it is important to follow some simple rules.
•
Avoid a sedentary lifestyle. If your work entails sitting or standing
for extended periods of time or travelling often, you should rotate
your feet in small circles, in order to activate your circulation. Alternatively, you should rise on your toes in order to activate the pumping
of leg muscles.
•
Avoid bathing in hot water. Prolonged bathing or exposure to any
source of heat, such as Turkish bath, sauna and sand bath should
be avoided. Walking in the sea or pool water as well as alternating
hot and cold water have a beneficial massaging effect.
•
Keep weight under control. Have a diet high in fibres, vitamins and
minerals, and drink lots of water. Being overweight damages the
heart, arteries and veins.
•
Avoid tight clothing. Garters, elastic bands and high heels can prevent normal blood flow.
•
Sleep holding your legs higher than the heart. Ideally, a wedge
should be placed under your feet.
•
Exercise regularly. Alternatively, have daily walks of at least one
hour.

How to wear
stockings
For a long-lasting quality and wear of graduated compression
tights, it is important to follow some small tips. First:
» the graduated compression stockings and tights should be
worn in the morning when legs are rested
» take care of anything that may damage the stockings, such
as rings, for example.
Following are some simple rules for putting on graduated compression stockings and tights:

Open the stocking and roll it down into an
O-shape to the toes.
Gently place the toe and heel over your foot with
a rotating movement.
Once the stocking is correctly placed,
gently unroll it up the calf and thigh.

Use your hands to accompany the tights up
to the hips, gently and continuously smooth them
over your leg and waist with circular movements.
Make sure the tights or stockings are
smoothed out and fit correctly, resulting in the
right distribution of compression grades
and a beneficial massage.
