Judges are authorized by the Directors to disqualify old work, and no prizes will be
given unless the Judges consider there is merit. All exhibits in Classes 33, 34, & 35
must be the work of the Exhibitor. Any item can not be shown more than two (2)
years. Only one entry allowed per person per section. Please use safety pins to attach
entry tags.
The Specials for cumulative points winners in Class 33 and Class 34 may not be
won by the same person two years in succession. Previous year’s winner is not
eligible.

The poster must be an original hand drawn design with the name of the fair and
the date of the fair included in the design, with a theme of "Promoting Our Fair"
The poster must be a minimum of 22 cm x 28 cm and a maximum of 28 cm x 44
cm. The name of the fair, the district number (7) contact person, creator of the poster
and complete mailing address must be clearly labelled on the back of the poster.
The fair board will mount the winner on black art card for the OAAS District 7
competition in November, and if a winner at that competition, will forward the poster
to the OAAS Convention in Toronto in February next year for further prizes.

O.A.A.S. Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition
Prizes - $6, $5, $4
Youth up to 15 years as of December 31 this year- put age on Tag.
Made by entrant - 8 cookies on a paper plate. Cookies to be no larger that 3"
(6.75 cm)and no smaller than 2" (5 cm)in diameter. Recipe must be included with
entry.To be judged - 25% presentation, 15% general appearance, 15% internal
appearance, 45% Flavour. Winner will be asked to repeat recipe for presentation at
the District 7 Competition in November and if a winner there, to repeat again in
February next year at the Provincial level. Refer to the OAAS web site for additional
information.

Bring your camera to the Fair - NEW RULES now includes digital imaging!
Slides and prints of this year's fair for the 2015 Convention sent to the fair president
by October 25 of the current year. Pick up the Rules and Categories at the office, at
the Fair. And/or refer to the OAAS web site for additional information.
