Each year about this time, spring’s always
unpredictable weather reminds me how fast
Springtime in Ohio is approaching. Here at our office
we are especially busy with all the finishing details for
the spring show. We are always anxious to see what
our exhibitors have in store for all of us.
On the home front, this year promises to be a
rewarding one for all of us. Dean is going to be raising
pheasant and quail. Starting with peeps, he’ll be raising
them with the goal of setting them free on our farm.
In the years to come, we hope to see wild raised birds
around the house, fields and ponds. Dean is enjoying
good health and the doctors (and I) are very pleased
with his continued progress. His presence at home
and in the office is very much appreciated.
Mackenzie and Maddison are
excited to both become ‘big
sisters’ in September. Everyone
has their preference as to whether
this should be a boy or girl but
we all agree that, upon arrival,
we all will be in love! Dani and Cliff are pleased to
be expanding their family. Dani is taking on more
responsibility in our office so she has been making
almost weekly trips with the girls to Findlay for work.
This gives me time to spend with the girls, crafting (it
does run in the blood!), baking and playing together.
Heather and Bill are now an old married couple of
one year! Heather continues her
work at the Municipal Courts in
Findlay and for Cloud Productions
in the evenings and weekends. Bill’s
help at the Findlay shows is much
appreciated. Evan will soon be
completing 6th grade and we are looking forward to
seeing more of him this summer. He will be busy with
soccer and baseball—if it bounces, he is right on it!
Spring 2015
Dustin and Amber will be getting
married this October at our pond.
We are so excited to be able to
host their country wedding. It’s
going to be so much fun…hay
bales, gourds, pumpkins and corn
shocks will be prominent. Austin
is now 3 and will play a big part in the wedding. He
will also be helping his Paw-Paw with the pheasants
and quail.
Ken leads a very active life…
he continues his career with
Booz Allen Hamilton at Wright
Patterson Air Force Base in
Dayton. Sports continue to be
an important aspect of his life; his
reputation as an official of high
school, NCAA Division 3 and now NCAA Division 1
college football games continues to grow. He enjoys
the games, the teams and the exercise. It has been fun
to go to the games with his girlfriend, Jillian and catch
a glimpse of him in action on television.
My mother, Elaine Buser, remains a mainstay in my
life. Whenever I need her, whether it is to share
good or bad news, she is right there for me and my
family. I consider myself blessed to have both her and
my father in my life. She is thoughtful, cheery and
considerate—a very gracious lady. I love you, Lainey!
To all my family and my extended family—friends,
exhibitors, customers, and employees, I am thankful for
each of you! Life doesn’t get much better than this!
