IMPORTANT MEMO:
Allegan County Resource Recovery and the Twp. Board have been
discussing the abuse at the Twp. Recycling Station. In the last year there
has been TV’s, Mattresses, Appliances, Hazardous Waste, Agricultural
Plastic/Steel Barrels and Trash left at this site. This is costing the Twp.
extra money to throw these items out. The Twp. is now looking at
spending money on a video surveillance system at this site. They will also
be working with the County Sherriff’s Dept. with enforcement for
residents who abuse this station. Please read this newsletter to better
understand this recycling program. Thank you for your time.
Allegan County Resource Recovery.
Keep ACHD in mind
when you are
considering the proper
disposal of HHW
during your next
cleaning project.
*Trash Service not available.
This recycle program is funded
through an annual $25 surcharge on the
winter tax bill under Act 138
