The Board of Directors of the Coastal Bend Oilman’s Fishing Tournament would like to announce
that this year’s tournament will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the Brackenridge Park on
Lake Texana. We will be celebrating 30 years of entertainment for the oilfield community.
There will be cooking sponsors providing food for everyone on Friday, June 26th. These cooking
sponsors will be located around the pavilion inside the campground. Music will be provided for
your entertainment on Friday night and door prizes will be given away each half hour from 7:00
p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Both team members must be present to claim their prize.
We will again have 3 fishing divisions: crappie, bass and saltwater.
We would like to thank the sponsors who have generously supported our tournament over the
past 30 years. Without your support, this tournament would not be possible. Also, we would
like to thank the fishermen for their participation. It has been a pleasure having each of you
participate in the tournament. This past year we donated a portion of the money raised to
Warrior’s Weekend, Patriots & Heroes Outdoors, Jackson County Law Enforcement, the Ganado
Classroom Teachers’ Fund and the Leon Bannert Scholarship Fund which awarded $5,600.00 in
scholarships to area seniors.
Official fishermen entry forms will be mailed in April and the deadline for entry will be June 12,
2015. Sponsorship categories will be Super Sponsor $1500, Platinum $1000, Gold $500 and
Silver $300 tournament sponsor. Deadline for sponsorship is June 13, 2014. If you have any
