Medication Review
Friday, April 10 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Library
Learn about your medications and what you can do to ensure your safety. Blood pressure screening will
also be offered. You will leave with an updated list of all your medications, medical information and
most importantly with more knowledge about your health. This program will be conducted by student
pharmacists from Notre Dame of Maryland University.

Fitness Center Days and Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Fitness Center will be closed if there is no monitor available to supervise the room.
Applications available in staff office.
Cost: $100.00 yearly or payable in 4 installments.
Personal training is available at various rates depending on your needs. See brochure for details.
Make sure you thank the volunteer monitors for their service. This makes the new rates and longer hours
possible. New classes for volunteer monitors are forming now. Sign up in office.

It is the policy of the Baltimore County Department of Aging that all eligible
individuals must complete an annual registration/ intake form in order to
participate in a Senior Center. Upon completion of this form, a valid lavender
membership card for the year 2014-2015 will be issued. For the safety of all
members, as well as yourself, it is important that the membership card be shown at
all times when entering the building.
The Book Club
The Book Club meets on the second Monday of each month at the
Cockeysville Senior Center from 9:30 -10:30 am. Come join us!

What’s new in 2015? Community Resources...BCDA’s newly published resource directly filled with
valuable information for living life to the fullest. For the second year, Baltimore County and Baltimore
City Governments have partnered to combine resources, business listings and non-profits in order to create
one regional publication for Baltimore communities. This revised publication has been expanded in
distribution and scope with the most current resources for older adults, baby boomers, caregivers, families,
adults with disabilities and professionals. Learn about the latest programs and services available in both
Baltimore County and City.
