In 1993, The National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (NAGPS) established
GraduateProfessional Student Appreciation Week (GPSAW) as a means of recognizing the
work of America’s graduate and professional students. Specifically, GraduateProfessional
Student Appreciation Week seeks to highlight and celebrate the contributions, impact and
value of graduate and professional students on campuses throughout the United States.
GPSAW is celebrated during the first week of April each year.
The Council of Graduate Students is currently working hard on planning GPSAW 2015. Look
for our March Newsletter coming out at the end of March with a complete list of activities and
coupon giveaway days.
