For Youth and Adult! An ideal program for the beginner as well as someone who would like to refresh
their knitting skills. We will cover the basic knitting stitches and
learn how to read and understand abbreviations and terms used in
patterns. Please bring size 8 or 9 knitting needles, and a ball of Worsted Weight yarn - your choice of color. We will make a fun item

For all levels; this class will use several rubber stamping techniques
in card making. You will learn fun, fabulous folds and use a variety
of products while creating handmade cards. Each week you will
make 2 cards of two different designs. All materials are provided, as

Folktales and fish myths collected from cultures around the world
will be our inspiration for these colorful “fish tale” wall hangings.
Each student will create a large decorative fish-shaped sculpture that
tells a story. This course offers a chance to skill-build with clay techniques such as slab construction, bas-relief, creating textures, sgraf-
fito, and a bright palette of layered underglazes. Wear comfortable,
old clothing and bring your favorite story, myth or “fish tale” to

through folk tales gathered from oceans all over
the globe, where elusive sea maids have brightly colored fishtails,
mysterious creatures lurk in the rolling waves and noble octopi guard
the treasure chests of underwater palaces. Explore slab construction,
sculptural techniques, and layered underglaze decoration to create
sculptures of watery enchantment. Wear comfortable, old clothing
and bring your favorite story, water theme myth or fairytale. Class is
limited to 6 students, ages 8-12, beginning to advanced levels. All

Children ages 8+ will embark on a magical journey through the exciting world of art and pottery. Campers will work at their own pace on
multiple projects while they explore the world of crafts experimenting with new techniques to turn everyday items into treasures. Decoupage, painting, pottery, polymer clay, textiles and wood are some
of the art and craft adventures campers will enjoy. Learn hands-on
how to make your own custom pottery pieces from scratch with wet
clay. Learn hand building techniques and work on a pottery wheel.
Fee includes use of all studio tools and equipment, materials, bisque
for firing finished pieces and a coupon to glaze your creations at no
additional charge. Half day and full day sessions available (if you
sign up for the full day session, be sure to bring a bag lunch). Activities will vary daily. No early bird or senior discount. Instructor:

your digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera for this hands-on
workshop. We’ll spend a few minutes each session discussing technique, and the rest of the session actually taking pictures with oneon-one advice. Bring your prints to the 2nd and 3rd class for constructive criticism. A basic working knowledge of your digital SLR camera is needed (that is, how to change shutter speed, aperture, ISO);

For all levels; this class will focus on several of many rubber stamping techniques. Each week you will learn 2 or 3 different techniques
used in rubber stamping. You will have an opportunity to practice
what you have learned; plus, complete a card using that technique.
In addition, for each technique you learn, you will receive typed instructions and make a sample to be included in your 6x6 Rubber
Stamping Technique Book. All supplies, including a 6x6 book and

An 8-hour course that meets the state requirements for boating and
personal watercraft safety. In order to operate a motor boat or personal watercraft, persons born after July 1, 1972 are required by MD
law to successfully complete this certification course. Class includes
a review of chart reading, course plotting, marlinspike (knot tying).
Ages: all (under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult). No
