Thursday, October 1: Presidents’ Tour, Dallas
Bus leaves hotel at 9:00 a.m. and arrives back at 3:00 p.m.

JFK Assassination Trail: Experience one of the most noteworthy tragedies of the Twentieth Century as the tour delves into
the assassination of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, on November 22, 1963 in the streets of Dallas,
Texas. Travel the Presidential motorcade route in downtown Dallas. View the old Texas School Book Depository (now The
Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza), where Lee Harvey Oswald fired the shots that killed JFK. Walk the "Grassy Knoll"

Pioneer Plaza: Visit this stunning plaza to experience a western cattle drive all in bronze. Walk among the bigger than life
sculptures of Texas Longhorns and cowboys as they drive their herd to market.
George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum*: The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum tells the
story of the United States in an extraordinary time. Using artifacts, documents, photographs, and videos from the Library’s
extensive collection, the 14,000 square foot Museum includes exhibits on the global war on terror. Interactive features in
the permanent exhibition include a Decision Points Theater designed to take the visitor “inside” the decision-making
process of President George W. Bush. The Museum features items from the World Trade Center, a full-sized Oval Office,

of old and new with Historic Walking Tours that visit the Texas Trail of Fame, the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and more

11:30 a.m. Stockyards Cattle Drive: be there at 11:30 a.m. to watch a herd of Texas Longhorns - one for
each decade of Fort Worth's 150-year history, mosey through the streets of the Stockyards area.
Lunch and Shopping on Your Own: The day is yours to dine and shop through the multitude of unique restaurants and
stores located in the Stockyards area.
