SUMMER READING PROGRAM 2015
“Every Hero has a Story”
ALL AGES may participate: Listeners (0-5) Readers (6-12) Teen and Adult
ALL programs and events are FREE
REGISTRATION BEGINS :: MAY 4
PROGRAM RUNS :: JUNE 1 - JULY 11
HOW IT WORKS. . . . .
Listeners (0-5)
Listeners must be read to for 10 hours in the 4 weeks of the Summer Reading Program.
Readers (6-11)
Readers must read a total of 16 hours in the 4 weeks of the Summer Reading Program.
Teens (12-17)
Teens must read a total of 5 books in the 4 weeks of the Summer Reading Program.
Adults (18 and over)
Adults must read a total of 5 books in the 4 weeks of the Summer Reading Program.
Everyone must use their reading log to record the hours and/or minutes of reading along with the date.
You may only turn in 1 reading log; this will allow you 1 entry in the grand prize drawing. It is not
mandatory to go to a summer reading events, but we offer wonderful and fun-filled events for children
and teens. (See Calendar of Events for more information)
