Come and make some sounds!
In CMJ’s new Community Music Centre for Wellington! We are running our
classes here but also have a brand new, warm, clean and creative space to hire for teaching,
rehearsing, workshops, team building and meetings.
CMJ has facilitated intercultural and participatory music via education, recreation and
creative projects throughout New Zealand over the last 10 years in schools; instrument
classes, choirs, music camps, and major community engagement projects.
We are on Hopper St, minutes from the top of Cuba St, with plenty of space to hire;
two small rooms from $10 hr, large central space from $30 hr, or the whole centre from $40
hr. We are also offering space plus where you can hire instruments like djembe drums,
marimbas, assorted percussion, ukuleles and a drum kit. Or add to your meeting, teaching or
team building session with a facilitator; highly trained and skilled song-leaders and
drumming & marimba tutors, with dance and multi-instrument teachers also available.
All hire terms include use of our kitchen, bathrooms, heat pumps, comfy sofas
and seating for 30 people. Half-day, full-day and weekend rates also available.
