Bumble Bees in DK or 4ply wool and size 10 needles
Using black wool cast on 8 sts.
Row 1 (WS) Purl
Row 2 (Inc 1) 8 times. (16sts)
Row 3 purl
Row 4 (Inc 1) 16 times (32sts)
Work 6 rows in stocking stitch (starting k1 row)
Continue in stocking stitch
Join in yellow and work 4 rows
Black work 4 rows
Yellow work 4 rows
Break off yellow wool
Using black work 3 rows in stocking stitch
Row 26 (K2tog) 16 times (16 sts)
Row 27 (P2tog) 8 times (8 sts)
Row 28 (K2tog) 4 times (4 sts)
Break off yarn and thread through stitches on needle.
Draw tight and secure the end.
Sew seam leaving a gap, stuff bee then sew the rest of the seam.
Stick on eyes and make mouth from small length of wool.
Make wings from fine net, ribbon or lace.
